The store should take the taped coupons as long as the bar code is still there and is legible.

Train riders, unless your train buddies have indicated that there's an allergy to tape in their household (I know for sure there's one rider who has a son who is allergic to it), it's a good idea to tape all the seams and edges of the envie before you send it through the USPS torture chamber. Packaging tape works great if it's a thicker envie and "invisible" or a lighterweight Scotch tape works great if it's a thinner envie.

If you send in a regular white envie, trying putting the coupons in a sheet of white paper first. Sometimes the bulkiness of the envelope will "catch" in the sorter at the post office.

Trying to be a couponer with baby number 2 on the way... proud to say I dropped my bill tonight from $130 to $80. I did have some help.... they doubled all of the online print-out coupons (the less than $1.00 ones) that clearly said at the top DO NOT DOUBLE OR TRIPLE. Oh well! It was Weis Markets, FYI.

There are reports out there that say there will be four inserts in some of our papers on 2/7. (2SS, 1RP, and 1P&G) You might want to check out what your papers have in them and maybe buy an extra one or two if they look really good?

It also appears there will be no inserts in the 2/14 papers. The 2/16 mailing will, therefore, be an optional week to send to your train buddy. The USPS will be closed on Monday, 2/15 (to commemorate Presidents Day).

Sorry about the ripped envelope. When I brought it to the post office on Monday she even tested it through some form she had to make sure it would go through ok.

I think I will start using the big yellow envelopes for bigger packages.
