I haven't received an envelope yet so this week might be a little small.

Friday afternoon I slid down a hill and my right ankle went down a little slower.....after spending the afternoon in the ER I got the diagnosis of three broken bones so I will be having surgery sometime this week and be laid up for quite awhile....I will cut coupons on Sunday but I am not sure when envelopes will go out....I know this weeks will be at least Tuesday as I am hoping to have the surgery tomorrow.

I hope you're on the mend soon!!

CELLFIRE (for adding coupons directly to your strore card)? Has anyone heard of or used this service?

Our local ShopRite grocery stores (one of my faves thanks to their great sales!) is now part of this service. You can add electronic coupons directly to your store's club card. Granted, this week there are only 6 coupons that I'd use, but it seems like a nice idea.

The Cellfire concept seems to be based more on using your cell phone to get deals (show cashier your phone, they hit the "use coupon" button and you get the discount), but I only care about being able to add digital coupons to my store card. They say they partner with Kroger, Safeway, and a bunch of other ones that aren't in our area but I know I've heard you guys mention.

And, not that I'm one to scam the system... but I'm curious if you can use both a Cellfire coupon and a paper coupon on the same item if you happened to have both...

Anyone heard of it or uses it? It's free so I signed up and added 6 coupons to my ShopRite card and I'm going to buy one of the items on my shopping trip later tonight and see if it works.

We don't have ShopRite stores here. I'm not at all familiar with Cellfire and have a feeling none of our stores here utilize it.

Hi all, I just wanted to post to brag and to thank everyone for the wonderful coupons they send down the train. I went to our Kroger today, who doubles coupons to $1. I ha to research first what that meant, turns out that makes a $1 off coupon turn into a $2 off coupon. They take coupons off, and give you the extra if the item costs less than the double. So, I unloaded everything and the total came to $156.32 After coupons and bonus card, the total was $55.06. Thank you everyone for inspiration and coupons!

The mail office clerk was mentioning how very busy they have been the past week and said it would continue all this week 'cause the Saints were going to the Super Bowl. I was like "what does the Saints winning have to do with increased mailings?"

She said it was because everyone is mailing conference tshirts to everyone they know. While she said she wasn't complaining she said "do you know what it will be like if they win the SuperBowl?"
