I just thought of a couple of questions to ask since I am a newbie...the answers may be in this thread somewhere I just haven't looked through the whole thing! Can we print coupons from coupon sites to send? I print a bunch every month and there are some products I don't use that I can pass along. Of course I don't print the ones I don't use, but could if they would be of use to my buddy! Also, how do I know or find if my buddy has a wish list? My buddy is JACOBSMOM00, so if you read this, let me know if there is anything special you would like me to send! I think that is all my questions (for now!)

Congrats on the wonderful news! I'm in the same situation I have been unemployed since last May. Times have been very tough but I'm hoping things will get better real soon.

CONGRATULATIONS on your new "awakening". I have always lived that way and my children grew up that way. Get what you need and a little of what you want. I always say when shopping, just because you fall in love with something, that doesn't mean you have to buy it! Now that they are on their own, they have money in the bank and buy when they have saved enough money for it. They are also used to going without, so it doesn't bother them to have to wait! It's a beautiful thing! The only thing we need an abundance of is LOVE!:

How absolutely wonderful for your husband and your family. This is why we are waiting on the pool. Gonna get the last two bills paid off and get a good emergency fund before the fun stuff.

We were talking tonight and have decided to take everything that he make from this 2nd income and put it in our savings account until we build our savings account back up to 6 months worth of income. This will make me feel so much better.

Yes, internet coupons are a welcome addition.

What a great idea! Especially since you are already used to being on the one income. You really have it all together.

This is good news! I received another email overnight from Sunday Coupon Preview saying there will be a THIRD insert in tomorrow's paper. So if they are correct (but they have been known to be wrong unfortunately) many of us might receive three inserts (Red Plum, Smart Source, and General Mills) tomorrow! If you do get some inserts, please mail if possible but officially I will still keep this an optional mailing week since that's how I set up the schedule originally. I'd be interested in hearing from some of you as to how many inserts you actually receive tomorrow.

Okay, I know the supermarkets pretty much know which coupons are coming out and when but, lately, I've noticed something going on and am wondering if the supermarkets are intentionally doing this (probably so).

Okay, my supermarket had a sale on Campbells Soup --- Tomato and Chicken Noodle only --- 40 cents a can. (my supermarket doubles coups). Well, there was a coupn in the paper -- 40 cents off Campbells Soup, any variety EXCEPT tomato and chicken noodle.

They had Skippy PB on sale --- 2 for $3. Funny, the sale ended when the 75cents off 2 came out in the paper.

There have been many instances of this. I just can't remember any other specifics, but I had noticed it so many times that it just caught my attention and I started watching it. Either the item goes off sale when the coupon comes out or the coupon is very specifically geared toward what is NOT on sale (like in the case of the soups)

Has anyone else noticed this or am I just being picky???
