Our family is heading down for our first whole week. Daddy has a conference so the kiddo and I will pal around the first half of the week.
My first question is - we are driving in and will get there about noon on Sat. I understand we can't check in until 3 or later. we don't really want to use a day at the parks on a half day.
Could we hang out at the resort before we check in?
What about Disney QUEST? Could we go do that if we purchased the Water Parks and more tickets? Or if we do Quest does that count as one of our "days"?
Thanks in advance. We are staying at Caribbean Beach Resort and looking forward to the Aquatic Play area in particular.

You can check in when you arrive and your room might be ready at that time. But even if it isn't, you can still enjoy the resort amenities like the pool if you want to. Pack a day bag with your pool attire and ask at the desk for information as to where you can change into your suits.

If you want to go to DQ, then you can get the WPF&M add-on for your tickets. If you go this route, you will not lose a day of park admission by going to DQ or a waterpark. Those entitlements are separate from the park days on your ticket.

Answer to your first question is yes you can hang out before check in. You can still go check in when you get there and chances are that your room will be ready by then. If it's not, they can text you and let you know when it's ready. :) If you can't get into your room yet, there are bathrooms at the main pool that you can change in and go to the pool if you want!

I am sorry but, I can't help you out on the Disney Quest thing with the Water Parks and more tickets. I do however know that you get 2 passes for Disney Quest in your coupons that they send you. Those can be used if you can't use the other for some reason.

BTW...you will love CBR! It's our "home" away from home. :)
