Okay, now don't laugh.....

but I'm on the dining plan for TWO weeks and will be attempting to count points... is this even possible? :rotfl: If you are a fellow point-counter, or someone just attempting to stick to a diet on the Disney Dining Plan, which restaurants and what meals have you found to work?

Count me IN too, I would love to know. I will be in Disney in 3 weeks for 8 days!!!

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I think it might be easier to follow the core program than count points in WDW. I personally am gonna be really bad and throw the whole diet thing out the window while we are there:rolleyes1

I'm with you on this one. I will try very hard to estimate and count points. I wish there was a place to get the nutritional values for the menus. It would be so helpful. At least when I choose to be bad I will know how bad I am being if I can get the nutritional values. Let's encourage Disney to provide the information for us! :cheer2: I must admit, I am hoping that all of the walking that I do will burn off a few extra points!:cool1:

I myself just started ww and I think I will just watch my portions and fill up on veggies and known low pointers. I dont see myself actually tracking my points while on vacation but will make an effort to stay on track abit:confused3

I know it! I'm down 15 lbs. and I would just hate to see a big gain when I get back. I'm bringing down Vitamuffins (one point each!) for breakfast every day. I'm hoping there are a few point friendly meals somewhere out there... this is going to be tough I know it!

you have a good point about all the walking. the trip could actually be very healthy:banana:

I'm not going to "officially" count while on vacation. I'm just going make better choices, like drinking water or diet pop when I really want lemonade. I'll order just a regular hamburger instead of a bacon cheeseburger, or not get fries, etc. I'm hoping that between doing that and all the walking, I'll be able to maintain my weight. But, I am on vacation, so if that real non-diet Coke is really calling me, I might just give in. Just once. ;)

Totally, all that walking :cool1: will definately make me feel better about splurging:)

We went in March '06 and I was actively losing...had lost 20 pounds when we went. When we went in March '07 I had hit goal (12/06) and was maintaining a 114 pound weight loss. I have poured over the internet and have never been able to find very much nutritional information. I think I found one site with Dole Whip information! If you just make wise choices you will be fine. One of the tricks I do is take WW muffins with me for those mornings when I don't have an ADR for breakfast. I pick up a piece of fruit at the food court and eat that with a cup of coffee. I also take my own fruit and nut bars (2 points) for snacks during the day! The other thing I do is ship ahead water so I'm not paying $2.50 a bottle there!

hat is really going to be hard to actually count points accurately...If you are familiar with the WW dining out book and the regular point counting book, you know what types of foods that seem to count for more points! Just keep that in mind and watch portion sizes! You will definitely be doing more walking than anyone normally does, so that should counteract some of the points...

However, if you have ever done WW before, you know that the excercise points are really not that generous! They want you to eat less...period! I run about 3-5 miles 5 days a week and that would only count for about 4 extra points on days that I ran...that does not seem like too much!

Still running, but no WW...I am doing the fat blocker ALLI...
