Counter service breakfast on MYW Dining Plan

We're trying the MYW dining for the first time this January. My question is about using counter service for breakfast. Do they allow you to get a piece of fruit or muffin etc. as "dessert". If they don't allow the dessert I guess we'll stick to counter service for lunch and pay OOP for breakfast. Thanks.

We ate at the Port Orleans Mill for counter service breakfast in October. We were allowed, either something from the bakery (which the items were huge) or a piece of fruit or a fruit cup from the cooler.

As of now and definitely in 2006 "dessert" is no longer included at CS breakfast.
