Ok, Brook, Henry has the most ADORABLE chin ever! I just thought this shot was so very sweet! He's a cutie pie. It's also exciting that he received Mickey mail, what a nice thing to send him. And I'm envious that you're down to only 12 days! What a blessing that everything worked out...selling your home, renting a NYC apartment and now back to Disney!

It was such a nice surprise - he (and I) loved every single item in there. We played with the kaleidoscope again today. "McQueen in there! McQueen in there!" it's pretty cute.

Our journey here has been an amazing one - I'm so thankful we are finally here and settling - and LOVING it. I don't ever want to loose sight of how different things were looking, and how they could have been. We are hugely blessed that things turned out as wonderful as they have!

I knew the corndog nuggets would show up WOOT WOOT!! Yay for being out of the teens Brook!! Your trip is going to be here before you know it!

Oh yes, those babies will be devoured again this trip!!

That is really cool that they have them going on Facebook! An excellent idea! I will have to look into that for future trips - this time I knew enough DISers going at the same time, so it all works out.

YES!! It's a very good day, if it includes meeting up and eating our little doggies!!

Yippppeeeee for 12 days! You must be getting so excited! DH and I have 58 days and I'm going to bust with excitement soon!

I'm so glad Henry liked his goodies! I bought 2 of everything and snuck most of it away for Ryan on the plane in Dec! I let him keep the book and coloring book though! Can I tell you how much I love the picture of Henry with the Kaleidoscope?! Sooooo cute! I love that kaleidoscope! I wasn't leaving Party City without them! I remember when I was a kid we would get cardboard ones at the 5 & dime! I LOVED them then and still love them!

You are just TOO SWEET for sending all that! Joe was so confused when he saw your name on the box and it had completely slipped my mind as well, so it was a very, very fun surprise! Henry really likes the kaleidoscope too - he sees McQueen in there and shouts out "McQueen in there!!!" I tucked away the coloring book, the 'what's different?' book and the notepad for the plane. I hadn't bought him anything yet for the plane either, these will be perfect! Thank you, thank you!

I agree! I can remember gazing through them and being just mesmerized by the colors and shapes it made.

Hurrah for being out of the teens! I have to agree that DIS friend are the most awesome, generous, thoughtful friends out there. We're so lucky to have found eachother!

The package was so sweet, and I love how excited Henry was to receive Mickey goodies!!!

I cannot believe single digits start tomorrow! I start to panic just slightly when I think about it - but I also know I really don't have much to do, so it's okay!

Henry was just THRILLED to get the box of toys. I wish we had video taped him shrieking and shaking with delight. It was so funny!

Yippee for leaving the teens behind! And yay for a day at the MK! I can't wait to see Henry's traditional shot with Zurg.

That was so sweet of mickeysmyboy to send that package to Henry, he looks like he was thrilled!

Now I'm on the brink of single digits!

I apologize for the lack of update yesterday. We have a couple friends visiting - they have been to NYC several times, so I don't need to play tour guide with them throughout the stay, but I do like to go out when I can with them! So this weekend we were running around and having a great time (see below for a few pictures).

That means TWO updates today!

The To Do list hasn't gotten much shorter, and only 10 days to go! But, I am confident I will get it all done, it's all pretty simple stuff.

And believe it or not...we got MORE Mickey Mail!

As I mentioned in a reply above we got a Photopass card in the mail with the words "Register your card today!" all over the mailing. Now, question for you seasoned PP people - if you register it TODAY, does your 30 days start today and you cannot add more numbers (thus making the share impossible?) or would it still work? It says there are discounts available with it as well...so I'm curious, but I don't want to ruin the possibility of a share either.

Henry also got a postcard, directly from Mickey and Minnie in the mail! I read it to him, they are very excited to see him in two weeks! He was super excited and insisted on putting it on display on the fridge.

After his shower that night I caught him just staring at it...

So cute.

Here are a few pictures that I took while running around with the friends that are visiting..

Picnic in Central Park - it was humid yesterday and Henry was all red-faced running around with other kids that were nearby.

Walking across the Brooklyn Bridge - one of my favorite things to do. It's such a beautiful walk, plus there is a GREAT pizza place on the other side. It took us over an hour to get into the restaurant, but the food is worth the wait.

After we ate, we walked down to the waterfront in Brooklyn. The bridge on the right is the Brooklyn Bridge.

There is a really nice park down there - it's brand new and Henry had a ball!

I received one of those PP cards in the mail too...I really think you shouldn't activate it. I'm worried that you wouldn't be able to add other #'s and that your 30 days would start when you registered it. Plus it's a flimsy card, you want one of the good ones.

Don't use that card. It will start your 30 days from what I have read. Also the discounts are no bettr than the pre order price.

Claire and I love the video of the tea cup ride. Henry knows exactly how to load and unload a ride. LOL! He is so cute.

I haven't heard about registering a PP card.. I think I would play it safe and not do it. I would just take a picture or write down the numbers on the back incase it is lost.

Hi Brook! We are back and had a super time!!! I am so glad Henry got his postcard! Love the picture of him looking at it.
For the most part we followed TouringPlans as far as when to hit different parks and that went really well. I was surprised that we didn't hit crowds. We made a run over to Islands of Adventure to check out Harry Potter... WOW, now that was a crowd! It was fun to see but I am a true Disney fan so I was very happy to get back to the World!
We had tea last Sunday when we arrived, so good! It was so sweet, there was a small birthday party for a little girl, she and her friends had been to BBB and were all princesses. Adorable!
Our weather was really good as far as not much rain. We were sprinkled on one time and managed to be eating the 2 times a thunderstorm came thru.
Thought of you guys as we walked around the boardwalk area, I hope you like it as much as we do. I know I want to stay there again someday.
Went to a DVC appointment but DH said Noooo I will keep working on him. Loved the mockups of AKL and Bay Lake, nice!!

I an planning to head up to NYC in late Sept (a friend just had a baby and I want to visit) and i hae heard about the pizza place at the base of the bridge for years. Might have to finally go. And to Magnolia of course for cupcakes

I wouldn't register the PP card until you get back just to be on the safe side. Not to mention, I registered mine in advance and never got a discount email, so it's not guaranteed. From what I understand if you are already planning on doing the pre-order your discount will be about the same anyway. Make sure anyone doing your share doesn't pre-register theirs either or you won't be able to combine them later

So nice to see that others enjoy Disney World rides in rolling, spinning chairs like we do. Brooklynn and I like to youtube rides, and I will push, pull, and swing her around as we watch. She thinks it's so funny.

Brook! I loved your video on the "teacups" sooooo cute!!!! You are such a good Mom! Henry is getting SO big, it seems like only yesterday he just a baby....they grow up too fast, don't they? The GF tea seems like such a fun way to spend an afternoon. I think once Aileen is a bit older we will make it a special mommy daughter experience. And MESP! Such an amazing thing! I can't wait to see that!
