Well, they didn't have Minnie, but I did get a Mickey version! Going to put it by the kitchen sink and see how long it takes the DH to notice....:lmao:

I'm here! I loved your top 10 in your introduction.
The movie nights that you're doing are great! What a great deal on those clearanced Mickey glasses.
The Minnie Mouse hand wash is so cute. I wonder if my Target has those? I'll have to look next time that I'm there.
Congrats to Hannah & Emma winning their game & scoring goals!!!!

Thanks for joining us! Since it is Target brand, it should make its way across the country.

I love soccer season- I bet it is a busy time for your kids sports wise too!

I LOVE THE SOAP!!!!!!

I tried to have my mom look for it at Target yesterday but she couldn't find it. Is with the other hand soaps? I think ours are located near the Heath/Beauty section. She said they had bottles with that brand but not one with Minnie ears! Maybe we're just behind in getting items in but I hope not!!!!

I have a Mickey watch too! I have the $30 one that they sell at WDW. It has a thin black band and is silver and I love it! I think I'm on my 2nd one now because I wear it so often that it gets all scratched up! You might want to consider one of those next time your at WDW because they hold up pretty well. I had a similar Tinkerbell one that I would wear when working at BBB and if it weren't for all the hair products and pixie dust covering it, I'd probably still have it!

My last one from Sears has held up well; it was a year old and I wore it everyday. I don't think any watch had a chance against the Travertine tile... :sad2:

The soap was with all the other brands (Softsoap, etc) of handsoap by the pharmacy in my store. It's target brand, so it should arrive at your store.

What a sweet smile behind that big paci.

Looks like it was a great day for a ballgame.
I like anything that encourages kids to read.

He is turning out to be a cutie! Weather around here is improving and more spring like daily! Of course, I like Brooklyn's purple tie die jersey better! I remember when the girls started playing soccer and the pod of kids moved with the ball.
(I'm with you on the reading...on Wednesday, the laptops I borrowed ran out of charge, so when my one class came in, I said okay, let's go to the computer lab. Their response was "Can't we just read?" I said, "yeah, right. How many of you are really going to read your independent book?" and all hands but two went up...floored me. It was one period away from the early dismissal for spring break. Sure enough, they all broke out books and read. I was in shock!!)

You guys sure have been busy!

Congrats to Hannah and Emma on scoring in their games! :thumbsup2 Your DN looks soo cute!

at the paycuts - that sounds awful. Love the hand wash and the watch.

Thanks! They aren't cuts (that would really be rough - just not pay raises...which fortunately isn't a strain for us.) I have to hope over to your report to see what you are up to!

Congrats on Emma and Hannah's goals in their soccer game!

Don't you just love Target!! Wearing a Disney watch every day gives me a bit of joy, (and let's people subtly know that I am a Disney freak.) :lmao:

Thanks!! We have a short spring break (Thursday, Friday, Monday) but I will definitely enjoy it!

Your Target should have the soap soon. It's amazing what happiness $3 can bring!

Great real life updates....:woohoo:on all the goals the girls scored....great pics btw!

Thanks!

The governor's proposals include an increase in rehabilitation to inmates which really upset my students... Ugh. Needless to say, my students are working on persuasive letters. :upsidedow

:thumbsup2 Congrats on the girls' goals! :thumbsup2

I am going to Target tonight and I am FINDING THAT SOAP! :lmao: I love Method products so it's a win-win for me!:goodvibes

Thanks! The only Method soap I bought in the past had the top break so I didn't ever buy another. (I didn't avoid it...) I hope you found it at your target.

Well, they didn't have Minnie, but I did get a Mickey version! Going to put it by the kitchen sink and see how long it takes the DH to notice....:lmao:

Okay, so I see you did get it! :cheer2: Is dh a Disney fan? Regardless, it shouldn't take him too long. ;)

Not quite as much as I am. It was quite funny though. I was in the living room on the phone with a girlfriend of mine and he's standing in the kitchen, holding it up with raised eyebrows. I wish I could have gotten a shot of that look! :lmao:

Guess I know what my limits are now ;)

Funny- I wonder if dh would care if I did really obvious Disney decorating. Honestly, I don't know that he would care. Maybe he just knows that I am a bit picky about decor and that I wouldn't...I am truly trying to bring Disney in without anyone realizing...I am going to do an animal print on my dining chairs. I asked dh for an opinion on covering them and he said, animal print. jokingly. I liked the idea, though and am looking for a subtle cheetah with hidden Mickeys. hehe. BTW - dh has opinions and we jointly decorate well 60/ 40 anyway.

Today's spring break adventure was to go to Lancaster to hit the Kirkland Home store and Pottery Barn outlet... I am redecorating our living room (on the cheap!) We have new sofas (Dec.) and I want to buy blue throw pillows...the color of pool water. My old sofas were burg., green, navy, camel checked with striped accent chair and pillow. Very Ralph Lauren looking. No chance of making the room summerish...

Driving to PB, I spotted a Disney outlet! Woo Hoo! So, I took pics for my Dis friends, much to the chagrin of my daughter. (which explains picture quality!)

The outlet is in Lancaster, PA but yet sold NYC gear??!! :rotfl:

In our pursuit of redecorating, I went to a Tuesday Morning store near us, would it be odd to include Animal Kingdom through this as a decoration? I have to find out if it would be offense to my mother (She threw out her Budda guy that she had since I was born after a message from her Pastor one week...very offended by other "idols") Emma asked why I was taking a picture. Hannah told her because "It is in the Animal Kingdom, and her Dis friends will appreciate it." :lmao:

We also stopped at the store to pick up candy for movie night... Luckily, we bought this at the outlet to serve it in!

We also picked up these:

This week's movie was

947191496_sP4Cn-L.jpg

I included that because my one daughter started complaining that she didn't want to watch it, and dh said all he knew about it was the Tronorail!

As soon as the film began, Hannah saw a hidden Mickey. She is coming along nicely as a daughter. :rotfl2:

Quick review: I looked up the film on commonsense.com (not sure if that is accurate) and learned that it was okay for the girls to watch. Actually, I think the site made it seem worse. It said women in stilletos and tight outfits, some flirting, and two people had a drink... okay- everyone was in a tight boday suit...the woman wore platform high heels and no indication that the drinks were alcohol...flirting? stretching it... violence...the people who died were mostly game pawns.

I wasn't sure if the plot would engage the girls but it did. I won't give away the story. The girls said they enjoyed it. I thought it was okay - I would say wait until it is on cable for free. I wouldn't rush to pay 4.99 rental off on demand again. (Since our movie nights cost us $5 in candy and $5 for the film - no complaints. The theater would be $50.

Nice update!!! I love the new buys :) I wish we had a Disney store near us but I think the closest one is in KY which is at least an hour or more away. I guess I go to WDW enough though that I really don't need anything else haha.

I haven't seen Tron either, really no desire either! You are spot on with the price of going to the movies! You get a popcorn, drinks, and some candy and it's $20+. You could get a decent meal at Steak and Shake for that!!

Fun shopping finds!!! :thumbsup2

We watched Tron last night as well! Charles had originally wanted us to go to see African Cats, but there was no way we would make the 6:45 showing. Instead, I sent him out for popcorn and candy, and since Chelsea was heading out to spend the night, we decided on Tron with Connor. I agree -- it was watchable and for the $10 we spent (we did ours on demand, too), it was a nice evening. I spotted that hidden Mickey, too. I was most excited about seeing the poster from The Black Hole on Sam's wall at the very beginning of the movie. I remember that from my childhood. :lmao:

Great shopping update. I love the Mickey plates. I still havn't looked at Target for the soap yet. I keep forgetting when I am in there.

Did you find your pillows? I love Pottery Barn outlet. We have one about 1 1/2 away from me, but I rarely make the drive. We also used to have a Tuesday Morning store in my town that went out of business about 5 years ago. I just thought they all went out, but I guess not.

I like using the site www.unplugged.com to find out about movies. They, too, do go into detail about every subject of the movie, but I guess they want to be thorough.

Hi Debby!
We're going to Disney in August so I thought I'd join along to read about your planning. Love the soccer pics!!!

Amanda

I wish we had a Disney store near us!!! I would spend LOTS of time there! We used to have one in a mall near us, but it closed. :(

Too funny about Hannah and the pic in Tuesday morning! That sounds EXACTLY like something my sister would say! :lmao:

Love the Mickey tray and plates!

Yay on spotting a Disney outlet!! Love the pics and I want a Lotso bear!

Lol at Hannah's explanation of why you were taking pictures!!

I have never heard Tron being reviewed in such a manner. I will have to keep an eye out (when I get round to watching it) for the women in tight outfits, flirting and drinking, lol!! :)

The outlet is about 45 min away...we have a store about 20 min away, but it is in King of Prussia Mall (one of the largest malls on the East Coast) so I don't go there too frequently. Another is in a mall in DE - about 20 minutes the other way. Neither area is as convenient as the stores/ mall 5 min down the way.

Fun shopping finds!!! :thumbsup2

You have such good taste! :lmao: My girls watched it again first thing in the am, and again later in the evening. They get three viewings from the 4.99 - so I really feel like I am getting a deal. ;)

I usually have to make a list for Target. I always forget what I want and end up getting other stuff just because I get in the Target Trance!

I bought pillows today from Pier One. I will be posting some pics later in the week. The PB outlet seems to offer less than the past.

Thanks - maybe it's better you don't have a Disney Store near you; "hanging" out there might interfere with studying and your social life! :rotfl:

Keeping working on your sister - she will be old enough to Dis before you know it!

Emma always picks up Lotso and smells him! Hannah is more like me so I think she tolerates my Disney obsession more than her sister.

I think you will find Tron rather mild - laughably so! You should watch it though. It has a couple of good lines.

We hope everyone had a great Easter!

First, big announcement--My countdown has officially begun!
i-NSNRS27-M.jpg

As such, I guess I should do some planning! Okay, I have been planning, I just haven't been sharing my planning. Bad, bad diser!

I guess from the ticker my smart friends have figured out that we are staying at Bay Lake Tower. We are doing another split stay, though. More on that in a bit...

I took this pic in Jan (we hoped to stay at BLT for that trip but...no rooms at the inn- I mean tower.)

So, Let's go on a little photo tour courtesy of google images bc I don't have other pictures of BLT. I will supply my own in my TR though.... I apologize in advance for the sizing issues of the photos!

Let's play a little game.

After four days at BLT, where will we stay?
