With the help of Rob from WDWLive.com the Countdown Wallpaper Maker now comes with 50 fantastic photos!
Not only that but custom images can now be used, so you can use ANY image/photo you have and make it into a custom countdown wallpaper for your desktop!

Also included is 5 different fonts, 5 colours for text and custom sizes for text!

This version should now work with EVERY resolution automatically, all you have to select whether your display is widescreen or not!

At first when I started using it, it said I had 125 days, x hours, x secs.
(actually, I didn't pay attention to the hours and seconds)

Then after a while it said I had only 124 days and this day isn't even over yet.

The instructions there are fairly detailed and should guide you through it step by step. If your still stuck after reading that, post where you got stuck and I'll see what i can do!

The time should count down to 00:00:00 of the day you enter, so the second the day starts. So the extra hours and minutes should take your 124 days over to the 125 day mark? If its still out, then yes it probably is counting down to that day in UK time

Neat program. I'm having trouble with using the custom image feature though. I've tried all sorts of things and can't get the custom image to show up - the resultant html page is a completely white backrgound with the ticker showing correctly, but no image. Any ideas?

Hi,
I'll try and take you through the steps, and you can tell me where it falls apart

1.Place the image you want to use in the main folder. This is the folder with "Countdown Wallpaper Maker.exe" in it.

2. Run "Countdown Wallpaper Maker.exe" and select 6 for custom images.

3. Enter the filename EXACTLY. This should end with .JPG, .JPEG, .jpg, .png or similar. The easiest way to find the FULL filename is to right click it, and select "Open with", then internet explorer. It should then say the filename in the address bar.

**Note** This IS case sensitive (Capitals do matter!)

4. Continue as normal!

does it work for Macs? i have a Mac for work, and that's what i'm on right now... i'd hate for it to mess up the computer though

Unfortunately, it doesnt work on mac...it wont break it, but it won't work, sorry.

Mac support may be coming, but not for a few months either way.
