Tonight I informed our daughter that the Magic was moving to CA next summer, her response--why? I told her I thought they might be testing a cruise ship with the tie to DisneyLand. Her response--"Why didn't they do it during hurricane season?" I thought, good point. I just thought it was quite a comment coming from a 12 year old. Kathy

They ARE doing it during hurricane season. Hurricane Season in the Caribbean is anywhere from June 15th to October 15th.

Actually this concerned me a bit when I heard when it was going to be. This is a time for high activity in the Eastern Pacific.

Actually the Atlantic hurricane season begins June 1 and continues through November 30.

Plus with DL's actual anniversary being July 17, it had to be in the middle of summer.
