I recognize those tears....they are tears of pride!!
Nikki, Congratulations on a job well done and so glad you're well!!
Nice medal.... flip flops and grass skirt cool too!
That would not fly at our HS graduations...LOL!
At my DD's recent HS graduation, the only requirement the school made was NOT to come barefoot! My Dd had on her Berk's, but many of the girls wore flip flops....infact so did the guys!
I have to ask, as I noticed this....did most of the kids paint and/or decorate their caps? I think that's Awesome! Our kids didn't....but they did throw them up in the air at the end...and stupid me, I asked my DD if she got her cap back and she said: No....Mom, it doesn't matter...they are all alike!
Congrats!.....Will she be heading off to College in the fall?
(another DISer here that will be in WDW in December!!!)
Congratulation to you and yours. Nikki looks so excited and happy to be graduating. Must have been hard for you to see her through the tears. {{{{hugs}}}} to you all.
Because that's what moms do. I really glad Nikki was well enough to go and enjoy herself. Congratulations to her (and you) on all her successes.
As silly as it sounds my little one graduates from pre-k on Thursday and I know I'm going to cry. She'll be singing My Country Tis of Thee with 2 other classmates and it's gets me everytime when she practices.
