Cost of a Taxi

We will be spending two nights at Port Orleans Riverside and then moving to Old Key West for the rest of our stay. How much do you think a taxi would cost to move us between the two hotels? ( I am pretty sure that we can't take our luggage on the bus system.) Is there another, effecient way, of doing this? Thank you!

I believe Disney will move your luggage for you! But I don't know if you need to bring it to the front desk or they pick it up at your room?

Funny, my friends are making the same move, two days at POR and then onto OKW!

Disney will move your luggage for you. When you are ready to check out of the POR call bell services. They will come and get your luggage, let them know that you are checking out of the POR and transferring to OKW. They will tag and hold your luggage and then transport it over to OKW later in the afternoon (generally after 1:00). You can go ahead and go to the parks and enjoy your day.
When you are ready to check into OKW, go and check in and check with bell services there to see if your luggage has arrived, if it has have them bring it to your room.
Usually what I do is go to the room and then freshen up and just call bell services from the room.

Those 2 resorts are very close to each other - (maybe even neighbors). I can't imagine it being more than $10.

Taxi IMO, is the way to go when transferring resorts or an ADR at another resort. 1 hour time that you are supposed to allow for resort to resort travel is SOOOO worth the taxi fare to me. That's one hour extra at the park, pool, bed....for a couple bucks.... money well spent in my mind.
