Using Disney transportation I am wondering if Someone can help me with travel times. We will be having breakfast at chef mickeys at 8:30am. I want to either ride the bus to Epcot or MK and then the monorail over to the CR. how long should I allow? I am thinking Epcot would be quicker since CSR is closer to it.

Bus to MK is easier, as you can't take the Epcot monorail to CR. You would have to get off at TTC and get the resort monorail. With the monorails breaking down a lot lately, I would minimize the number of monorails I had to count on!

Shoot I forgot about the TTC. Thanks for reminding me. Any idea on travel time? How early do buses start running?

Makes me wonder too. We have Ohana scheduled on our Epcot day.

There is an app called GPS twiz that can give you multiple routes and estimated travel times between Disney World locations. The bus to MK to CR route is estimated to be 36 minutes. (That obviously doesn't include waiting times.)

Turn down service is an advertised perk of business class at CSR, so everyone should get it. However, I have read of more people who have NOT received it than those who have. I monitored this fairly closely when we were considering business class.

Interesting. :confused3 I am not in the least bit sad that we haven't gotten it. Maybe because I'm DVC, I've gotten used to not having someone enter our room daily. I honestly prefer no turn down service! :thumbsup2

BTW, the CMs here are as awesome as ever and it's fun to see so many familiar faces again! :goodvibes

The car show here this weekend is amazing! So glad our trip coincided with this event! :cloud9:

Wow been busy with family health issues... this thread has jumped a lot lately!

Anybody doing split stays with CSR as one of your resorts, take note. If you have Magic Bands/FP+ linked to a different resort, you will most-likely be able to use your MB at CSR!!

I checked in to CSR for 3-nights on Saturday, and the band has worked everywhere. You might need concierge help with FP+. Other than that, you should be good to go.

This is fantastic news!! We arrive on Tuesday and have MagicBands and were hoping they would work everywhere!

:welcome: to the DIS!

Yes, you can send a package to be there when you arrive. As far as I know, packages sent FedEx or UPS still incur a charge and can be picked up at the business center. Packages sent USPS do not have a charge, and I think they will be at the front desk.

I haven't ever shipped to CSR, so I hope someone will correct the info if it is outdated.

Thanks, i received the same answer from CSR.

But I have another question.

The shipping via USPS can not arrive before my arrival at the hotel?

And if I am already at the hotel, I need to be there to receive or the package is delivered to my room?

The resort is so quiet and parking lots so empty with the car show finished. We asked for a microwave at check in, and one was available. We've put it to good use. A While back someone had asked if the pm has a microwave. No, they do not. There is some construction going on, and all they have at the little table near the exit is Simply Heinz ketchup, mustard, mayo, sugar and artificial sweeteners, knife, forks and spoons, and napkins. To Go orders now pay at the bar in the front of the pm. The registers near the Rix Lounge is just for servers.

ETA: Cafe Rix has a microwave, I've been informed.

Can anyone tell me if CSR has implemented the Rapid Fill RFID Mug program yet? Perhaps not at Pepper Market yet but what of the other soda locations? Thanks in advance :)

So you can request a microwave? I didn't know this.
