They have towels in carts outside the fitness center which is right at the quiet pool by building four. No need to get from main pool. That is where we got them this past weekend.

Officially overwhelmed by all the great info here! We are thinking about trying CSR this time. I need a room that is #1 close to a bus stop and #2 close to a place to fill our mugs. Can you tell me what room I should ask for? Thanks!

It is easy to feel that way. It's Disney World and there is so much to take in. But that's why we are all here should you need any questions or concerns resolved.

I have two questions if anyone here can help:

1. Does Casitas 4 have any sort of water fountain in front of the building? I can't find any pictures that are specifically labeled as being the outside of Cas. 4.

2. I read on the first post that you can refill your mug at the pool bar. Is this a self serve station or does the bar have to be open to use it?

TIA!!!

Casitas 5 has a fountain in the courtyard in front of it. Casitas 4 has a large quiet pool. You can from the quiet pool at Casitas 4 see the fountain in between buildings of Casitas 3.

You can get your mug filled at the pool bar, but it isn't self serve.

Ugh - saw your follow up that they have Yuengling (my favorite beer!).

Can you get the coffee to go in the morning? That might help me decide as well. Aren't doing the dining plan so won't have refillable mugs which makes the coffee option seem very appealing.

And we would probably be more fruit/yogurt/cereal type people anyway...

Decisions, decisions...

So, called today and upgraded to Standard Business Class Room. Was able to use the bounce back rate that I used with my original reservation (30% off). It was an additional $236 for our 6n/7d. I'm sure we will use it for breakfast everyday and my DH is one of those who needs breakfast before parks (unlike me who usually gets a cupcake around 10:00 a.m. or so).

Not sure how much we will use it in the evenings, but we shall see.

Appreciate everyone's reviews and input!

Becky

Hi all! I'm new to the boards. In the very, very early stages of planning, and CSR wasn't even built the last time I was at Disney, but I've somehow managed to fall in love with the place! I have three questions:

1. During value times (I'm thinking non-holiday periods in Nov/Dec/Jan), how likely is it to get put in your requested location? I've been dreaming of a room in the Casitas, on one of the interior courtyards with the fountains, for forever!

2. How easy is it for someone in a wheelchair or ECV to get around the resort? Are either available at the resort, and if so, should I go that route, or look into renting with an outside company? (Due to a variety of problems, my mom can only walk short distances/for short periods of time. We don't need a handicap-accessible room or anything else special, just the ability to cart her around when she inevitably gets tired and/or experiences pain.)

3. I was heartbroken to learn Pepper Market is no longer doing buffets. Is there any chance they might come to their senses and at least do a breakfast buffet again? (Nothing says vacation to me like buffets!)

Thanks everybody!

PS: Sorry if any of this has already been covered; I'm playing catch-up as fast as I can!

:lovestruc *squeal* Yay! Pretty!! My favorite is the narrow one with the long, thin fountain with the lions, but this is my #2! Thank you!

We just booked a preferred room for thanksgiving week. Can someone tell me what the benefit of the preferred room is??? I have read through almost all posts, and I still don't understand if this location is close to "everything". CMs words.
My dad has mobility issues, and hated the riders. Thinks they are more trouble than they are worth. He had Afib oblation surgery earlier this year, so I don't want the walk to be too hard. I just don't want him to not enjoy himself. I guess I just want to know if you think this is a good location.
Thanks in advance!!
Tina

Please don't tell me to get him the device, he's stubborn, I have no control. :confused3 I have a 5 y/o and sometimes I don't know who is worse. LOL

I can not answer all you questions but a ecv at Disney is 50 dollars a day we rented one from an outside company for 200 for 10 days. If you get the Disney ones they are first come first serve and you can not take them out of the parks. If you get one from outside company you will have it delivered to your hotel and picked back up there and you can take it where ever you want.
If you need more help look at the dissabilites board

If you look at the beginning of this thread, the first page has pics and a map for the hotel so you can see where the different rooms sit.

Did you guys use Disney buses to get around, or did you have a car?

I can only help with question #1. We have been four times in early November and always been granted all our room requests (and I usually ask for several very specific things). I've never stayed at CSR, but I am assuming that I will probably get my room requests there as well. I just always keep in mind that they are requests and I'm not guaranteed anything. However, Disney has always tried to make my family as happy as possible! :)

Here is the map so you can see the room locations/the red circles are the bus stops

the buses will load evcs on first so you can get all over with them, also you can take them on the monorail

Yeah, I know it's fall break. It was just surprising to no availability for standard rooms the day rates are released. Even still today no availability for anything but the more expensive options. I'll eventually call to check, but for now, I'll be patient. Plenty of time between now and October 2014. :lmao:

we are going Oct 10-20, 2014 for the first time ever.......I didn't even think about fall break! Shoot.....we were hoping for a slower time of year :rolleyes1

we originally had reservations for standard rooms, had no trouble getting them maybe you should call it might be a glitch with the website.;)
