Well I guess I better add a couple of more days to my trip so we can do a quick meet! :rotfl2: It's been years since I've stayed at CSR so it's good to know that you like it so much! :thumbsup2

If we check out late enough and you check in early enough......... :rotfl:

Actually, I added one more night to the trip: a Lion King Suite at AoA!!! :woohoo: We fly home 9/3!

Flying in from California so no hope of checking in early. But adding a day now that is good .... a woman after my own heart!!! :cool1:

I am so excited, we just booked our trip for my 50th birthday in December, and we'll be staying at Coronado Springs!

DH offered to take me to Disney for my 50th, but is not a huge Disney fan, so I thought that CSR would be a good choice for him as it seems like a quieter resort?

I only have stayed on property once, traveled with friends last year and they stayed at Pop Century, which was okay, but I wanted something that would be a step up from a Value.

You made a great choice! :thumbsup2 CSR is a really peaceful resort! :goodvibes

Ended our DVC holiday stay with 2 days at CSR. Great value. Moderate prices with deluxe level amenities.

We leave on Saturday for Coronado and I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the arcade. We have a 3 year old that loves to play arcade games. What type of games do they have there? Do they have some where you win tickets and can trade them in for prizes?

If I'm remembering correctly (we stayed at CSR in February), the arcade is small. It has about 10-15 games. I remember a car or motorcycle type of game (one where you sit on), a basketball game, I believe. They had foosball in the middle of the room. (Hope I'm remembering this correctly, lol) I don't believe they give out tickets. The kids just play for fun.

Hope you have a great time!

Most of the games are geared towards older kids and there are no tickets for prizes. They do have 20 or so games and many of them are sit on games with motorcycles, cars or airplanes. The playground is also right outside the doors of the arcade.

We've booked our first ever stay at CSR for Feb 1-10 and I was really excited about it but have also since read some not great reviews about the food at Pepper Market. I had previously read great things about it and that was a plus on our list - both kids love all things taco, nacho, quesadilla, so figured it would be great for our hang around days.

Previously we've stayed at Port Orleans, CBR and OKW. The kids loved the pool at CBR and I thought at CSR they'd have lots of fun on that slide!!

Also, I am wondering what the chances are of getting a PIN for dining now that we've already booked. We did the room and tickets pkg but not dining and when I called to add an extra day, the CM was suggesting adding the dining plan. DH says we blew any chance of getting a PIN by booking and we should have waited but CSR was my first choice when we ended up at CBR five years ago under the CAA 4/3 deal but it was fully booked. I guess I can always hope that they release dining to the public for our dates and I can add it on.

Just did online check in. We leave in 7 days and an extremely early wake up (3 am).

Hi~ I really am having a tough time choosing between CSR & POR. We just got back from our first trip in May & now I am planning 2014. We stayed at POR but CSR looks amazing. Sounds silly but I'm curious does this resort offer Pole Fishing & bike rentals my boys loved that. Ds13,13 & 9. I am in the process of reading this thread page by page. On page 1 I believe I read this is available, but on another site I hear it's no longer? Thanks so much!

No, the pole fishing and bike rentals are no longer available. Sorry!

FWIW, my boys (now 11 & 7) have always loved CSR, they love the pool, the jaguar slide and the arcade.

Sorry, no answers, but we are in the same boat. We are booking CSR after a great tirp at POR. We just wanted to avoid having the same vacation and doing all the same stuff. Someone gave me this link that may help. I would check the resort website for the most current offerings. We are going for it, if we don't like it we may try to switch, but expecting good things as it is still Disney, and we don't spend a lot of time there.

ThankYou for the feedback! Crazy we were in WDW and one of my twins 13 found happiness pole fishing.
