Did anyone see Corey Feldman on 20/20 Friday night.

I know he got subpoened by the court for the Michael Jackson trial and he has to appear, but I don't understand how he could give a interview before the trial.

It was a very good interview. The person interviewing him on 20/20 was the same person, I can't remember his name, that interviewed and broke the Michael Jackson story.

I don't want to get into details what he said. Corey just seemed very honest, and he said a defining moment was the birth of his child.

I missed it and really wanted to see it. Did he say anything revealing about his relationship with MJ? Why did he change his mind about MJ?

And fell asleep during a commercial. :confused3 So, what was the defining moment when Corey started not being on Michaels side? Did Michael ever try anything with him?

I didn't watch it, but I read a news article yesterday that said he revealed that MJ had shown him a book with pictures of naked men and women that was about venereal disease with graphic photos. He said MJ never touched him inappropriately though.

I caught it after it was on for awhile.

What I picked up:

For some reason Michael thought Corey was going to write a book on him when he (Corey) was younger. Corey said this was not true and Micheal never spoke to him again. (I don't know what led up to this.)

Corey asked Michael to spend the night at his apartment. And Michael asked if he had books. Corey said what kind of books. Michael said Playboy, Penthouse, etc. Michael never spent the night. Corey admits it doesn't prove anything, but it sent off alarms in his head.

Michael showed Corey a book at his house that was about male and female genetalia and venerial diseases. Corey was 13/14. He said at the time he didn't think anything of it. He was kind of grossed out by it. Then he heard this boys story/eveidence and said the similarities were there. That he personally had that (the books with pictures) happen to him too. So he started to wonder what else is true. And he also said that if his son, at 13, was shown pictures like he was shown by a 35 year old man he would beat him to a pulp.

He said he was never molested by Michael Jackson. Some of the evidence was too similar to his own experience with Michael Jackson that he felt he could not keep quiet any more.

I watched this last night. I think Corey felt that things "weren't right" between him and Michael once he grew up and looked back on it with adult eyes. He felt a moral obligation to say something, even though he said Michael did not molest him, he didn't say that he thought Michael wasn't a molester now. What he didn't say is as important as what he did say in my opinion. He no longer wants the world to think he stands behind Michael as a friend. That says a lot.

Sorry I really didn't explain the interview, but He felt his derfining moment was when their baby was born and he became a parent.

Corey said he had a rough child hood and Michael Jackson befriended him at 12-13 yrs old. He stayed at the Jackson's home in Encino many times. As someone said, he told about the books Michael showed him, meeting him in NY when he was about 20-21 and Michael wanting to know about him writing a book, which Corey said was untrue and that was the last time in 1992 I think he ever talked to Michael again.

The interviewer asked him about Neverland Ranch. He was asked if he slept there and he said yes, but not with Michael, he was asked if Michael ever molested him and he said no. And then he was asked what he thought of Neverland, and Corey said, "looking at Neverland know as an adult and as a parent, it is a place where a pedofile would lure children.

I watched Corey Feldman on the Surreal Life and I couldn't stand him. I thought he was boisterous and obnoxious, and wanted people to feel sorry for him. When he married his girlfriend Susie on the show, I just thought he wanted his 15 minutes of fame again. But seeing him on this interview, his whole demeaner was changed and he was actually answering the interviewer's questions really well.

I have always wondered about him, and MacCualey Culkin, and all the other child stars that "hung out" with MJ. It seemed strange to me that MJ surrounded himself with boys. If MJ say he loves all children, then where were all the girls?

I guess I had a personal experience to raise my eyebrow at it, There was a man that lived 3 doors down from us. When I was a kid, this guy had EVERYTHING a kid in the 80's would want. A big screen tv, complete with atari, and all the games, he had a paved basketball court put in his yard, and for me, the end all be all, DIRT BIKES! All of it was off limits to me and a few other's in the neighborhood. Why? We were girls. All that stuff was for the boys of the neighborhood. My mom would not let us over there even if we were allowed. She would beat the daylights out of my brother's if they were caught over there. My mom tried to talk to the mother's of the boys who were going over there, and was told to mind her own G/D business. This grown man in his 50's and single would have these boys sleep over. What mother in her RIGHT mind would allow her son to spend the night there?

As a kid I wished in so many ways I was a boy so I could get to play with all the neat stuff. Years later, that man was finally sued by a boy who was screwed up as an adult, and it all came out. He was a child molestor. Some of the boys came forward, but other insisted that nohing happened. They were grown adults by then, and I feel they were in denial. Your brain can block alot of bad things out, and they truly have no recollection of anything that may have happened. I believe this the case with Corey Feldman. He may remember the not so bad stuff, but has blocked out the really bad stuff.

Corey Feldman has really grown up to be a nice young man, at least that's the impression I got...good looking too!

And he also said that if his son, at 13, was shown pictures like he was shown by a 35 year old man he would beat him to a pulp.

No, he said he would beat his ***!

He also said that if the allegations weren't true, then there are a few sick people out there, but if they are true, then there is one sick person out there, and he should be punished.

The interviewer was Martin Bashir (don't know if I spelled the last name right).

They said that he gave the interview before Corey was subpoena'd, and that now Corey's under a gag order of some sort.

I was impressed with the interview. Brashir asked him if he was being "groomed" and Feldman basically said he'd like to hope not, but in hindsight possibly he was. He felt that because of his situation as a celebrity he may have had advantage over kids who had nothing and were more vulnerable.

I saw it and according to the introduction to the segment the interview was done before he was subpoened to testify at the trial.

I wish I had seen this!

I find Michael Jackson case absolutely fascinating. That a man could earn so much money, fame and adulation, and then go so far off the deep end.

In the '80's when it seemed like everyone thought he and his music were fabulous, I didn't "get" him. I was always partial to rock music, and MJ's style was dance music. It wasn't my thing, but all my fellow rock 'n roll fan friends bought the Thriller album.

Back then, I thought there was something very "off" about him, and he just got stranger and stranger as the years went by. Now is his appearance is so bizarre, there isn't anyone on Earth who doesn't agree he's a total weirdo.

His whole story could only happen in real life. If he is proven to be a pedophile, I guess he'd be the wealthiest, most famous one ever.

I think he did the right thing, speaking up. If MJ is a pedophile, he needs to be kept away from children. The only way that will happen is if people speak up and put an end to it. It is bad enough that even the most average molester has the 'power' to get children to go along with them. Add riches and fame, and you have the potential for many, many children being affected and the perpetrator getting away with it, indefinitely.

If he is proven to be a pedophile, I guess he'd be the wealthiest, most famous one ever.
The wealthiest, most famous who has been brought to justice maybe. I would not be surprised if there have been many others, throughout history, whose money and status (power) have kept them protected from the law.

I am by no means a fan of Michael Jackson's but Corey Feldman's testimony means nothing to me. I just think he's doing anything in his power to keep his 15 minutes of fame alive. After all just a few seasons ago he got married while filming the Surreal Life.

Pete Townsend comes to mind.

Maybe he was doing what he said, and then again, maybe not.

Here's a link to the 2020 site with text version of the interview. It isn't the whole interview/segment, but does have a lot of highlight quotes.
I saw it last night and was impressed with him.
I had thought that it was unlikley that Michael Jackson would have actually molested any of the "high profile" boys like Corey Feldman or Maccaulley Caulkin. It made sense to me that if they were molested, it would make news, whereas, if some annonymous young boy was, it could be kept quiet.
Corey Feldman basically said that was what he thought.
Also, it would make sense that the famous young men were "bait" to attract other young boys.
Very interesting interview.
