Coral reef

I am starting to think about our ADR's for our summer holiday at WDW. I LOVE watching the fish at The Living Sas but HATE eating them! Can anyone tell me if there is a fishy smell in this restaurant as it would put me off my dinner.

I ate there last summer and don't recall any "fishy" smell. We had a great meal and it was fun watching the fish and the divers in the tank.

And the steak there is absolutely excellent. Nice to have seafood alternatives....

I posted almost this same question early this year. We had an ADR at the Coral Reef and I couldn't stand the thought that I might have to sit through a stinky fishy smelling meal. I was reassured by everyone here on the boards that I had nothing to worry about so I kept our reservations.

I am so glad that I did. The meal at the Coral Reef was the best meal that we ate over our 10 day stay. The steak was fantastic. The blackened catfish was to die for. The appetizers were so good and the desserts were yummy to my tummy!

People often say bad things about CR but we loved it. I got the catfish and it was awesome. The place did not smell like seafood at all! Your safe..

No fishy smell when I ate there two weeks ago. However, for the first time I tried the vegetarian option-Pumpkin Risotto and I was disappointed. I should have stuck with my favorite-Mahi Mahi with couscous.

No fishy smell what so ever. And the food is fabulous. By far one of the best resturants we ate at while on vacation!

You shouldn't have any problems with smells at Coral Reef. We've always enjoyed having dinner there. Food is very good. Make sure you try the Chocolate Wave!

We love the Coral Reef... not fishy at all, exept for inside the huge tank
Our only complaint has been service... not always the best in our experience... but still fun after several trips!

We requested a table by the aquarium. And we got to sit right there. Only complaint was that son 6 at the time was to busy watching the turtle that wouldn't leave rather then it. It was a great meal in a great setting. Loved it

I don't remember any "fishy" smells in the resturaunt. The only thing I remember is watching the fish and that the food was GREAT!!

There is no fish smell. It's a great place to eat. The atmosphere is amazing. The food was the BEST we had eaten all trip. My bf and I split the pumpkin rissoto and the chocolate wave. Absolutely to die for!
