Does the expensive key do anything different? Or is the difference just the size and materials?
Same!! I forgot about THAT key. Thanks for the clarification, @LKing!WOW..that thing is HUGE! Sorry, I was just confusing it with the OTHER overpriced souvenir key
I honestly wouldn't know what to do with something like that...but clearly there is a market!
No pins in the giant keys. No discounts. Limit 2 per person. WOD now has them behind the counter.I hear that the pin in the standard key is worth more than the key, hence people have been buying them, removing the pin and giving/ throwing away the key. Is there a super giant pin in the giant key?
Oh, funny...like you could stick that thing in your purse...but I guess there are people who would pick it up and try and walk out with it...No pins in the giant keys. No discounts. Limit 2 per person. WOD now has them behind the counter.
Snow and icicles are on the castle by mid October. There’s videos on social media of Disney moving Christmas decorations into the parks today. Yikes, this year is flying by!
I think the problem is that people pick one (or two) up and then leave it somewhere else in the store. Either that or they have a difficult time holding it while they are shopping.Oh, funny...like you could stick that thing in your purse...but I guess there are people who would pick it up and try and walk out with it...![]()
What does it look like out of the box? Is it exactly like the other one?I think the problem is that people pick one (or two) up and then leave it somewhere else in the store. Either that or they have a difficult time holding it while they are shopping.
I can think of a few vloggers who would have it mounted on the wall as they open packages or detail their fit of the day. This FOMO really puzzles me. Whether or not you are able to get to a park to buy one, why would you want one? What do people do with these things at home? The only thing I can think of is resell them, but is there that big a market for that?
That makes sense, but are there that many vloggers to account for the number of purchasers?I can think of a few vloggers who would have it mounted on the wall as they open packages or detail their fit of the day.
That sounds like a great collection!Normal people have Disney rooms as well. I don't per se, but over the years have ended up with some random Disney things. The lego castle, a framed Wish steel cut piece, a BB-8 Droid, a framed Big Thunder jigsaw puzzle... Hanging a giant key on the wall woudn't look that out of place at this point.
My daughter and I bought popcorn buckets on our last trip, thinking they would be fun to remember our trip by when we're watching Disney movies. Having said that, they're huge and there's no way I'd have more than one! I have to keep the two we bought upstairs in my bedroom closet instead of in my kitchen because there's no room for them. Which means we regularly forget to use themI’m not a collector but it’s obvious many people are due to the space Disney dedicates to merch - especially pins and popcorn buckets. I don’t hate on people who do collect but I often wonder where they store their popcorn buckets!
