What specifically do you like on the Coral Reef menu. The Mahi Mahi looks good, any thoughts?

Thanks

I can not help you but I am just so excited because we will be doing the Coral Reef for the first time in Aug. I was wondering the same thing and also wanted to know if the was as nice as it is described on the inside. :goodvibes

**LOVE** their lobster bisque. We don't like fish, so we always seem to get steaks there (lol) and we enjoy them.

We went in Feb. I had the Mahi-Mahi, which was ok. The Mahi-Mahi was cooked well, but I wasn't a big fan of the seasoning/sauce on it. The Lobster Bisque was yummy, and so was the Chocolate Wave. I actually was not impressed with CR overall, service was just ok, and it was very very very loud! But the atomosphere was obviously terrific! We also had a table next to the tank, which was amazing. I am glad that we gave it a try, but we won't be going again, unless a menu change takes place.

I always order the Mahi. The cous-cous is a great addition. I also like the lobster bisque and get the Amber Reef drink with it.

The chocolate wave is a wonderful dessert too! ;)

I had the tuna steak in March and it was terriffic! Also, you have to have the bisque.

I loved the Blackened Catfish it was my favorite entree last year; it is spicy so you would have to be a fan of spicy food. The chocolate wave was also amazing. I have ADRs made for CR again this year.

The mahi mahi is very good, as was the strip steak. The crab claw and braised beef appetizers were excellent, though the crab claw one was small. The polenta that came with the beef appy was very good, too.

Has anyone had the shrimp pasta? I love the lobster bisque and was so disappointed when they took the crab cake off the menu.

Me too!!! We are dining there for lunch August 31 to be axact. I attened a private wedding reception that was catered by the Coral Seas and it was outstanding so I am looking forward to it!

We loved Coral Reef. DH and I shared 2 entrees - the mahi mahi and the blackened catfish. The mahi mahi was good, but I didn't like the sauce very much - it was a bit sweet for me. However, the blackened catfish and grits was absolutely delicious. It is spicy - I loved it. I will say that the portions are a bit small and we weren't on the DDP so we didn't get any appetizers. We also split the chocolate wave and it was awesome. DS2 had the chicken pizza with apples and carrots and he ate all of the sides and half of the pizza - that much for him at one meal is almost unheard of for him! The service was very good despite the place being very crowded. We had a table right next to the fish tank and it was so cool.

i dont like seafood, so i was a little worried when we ate here last year....it was our best meal!! i got the ny strip...it was PERFECT, and the potatoes that come with it are FANTASTIC!! cant wait to go hear again this trip!!
