coral reef divers

hi-anyone had any recent experiences w/seeing divers in the tank? we have a surprise diver coming down for someone in our party in dec and was just wondering what it was like?

Just curious...how did you arrange for this? Did you call Coral Reef directly or just through the Disney Dining number?? Thanks.

we did this for DD's birthday last Friday. It was great. We had a tankside table and they held up the sign right next to our table....it really was great!

You really need to call the Coral Reef directly. I started a thread a couple of months ago in the Dining Reviews. It was great and I definitely recommend it.

We did this for our kid's birthday a few weeks ago. Just call Coral Reef directly and get it set up, and then remind them when you arrive. One extra benefit is that you'll get a tank-side seat. The divers will swim down with a laminated 'Happy Birthday xxx' sign, and give it to you afterwards.

Here's a dark picture (it's hard to get good pics in there). The stuff in front of the diver on the right is 'confetti' - He grabbed material from the bottom of the tank and tossed it up as part of the celebration.
