coolers with wheels?

I appreciate the reality check here. I definitely don't want to get nasty when discussing the happiest place on earth! While we aren't wealthy, we are certainly comfortable enough to afford whatever foodstuffs we choose, we are just value conscious, and also don't like the prospect of eating terribly unhealthy food for 10 days. The point is well made (and well heard) about choosing where to spend our hard earned bucks! We will certainly indulge in eating out (a lot). I do this for a living - I know the secrets and the markups. I also would rather drop a cool $200 bucks on one great meal in a really nice restaurant over 8 fast food lunches I need to wait in a 1/2 hour line for! So we will eat out...every night for dinner. We will also eat (slightly) better food in the form of bagels, cereals, granola bars etc for breakfast, a decent sandwich for lunch, plenty of terribly unhealthy junk food snacks in the parks, AND, on our anniversary...an awesome meal at Bluezoo with excellent wine and all the trimmings... Foie Gras anyone?

Sorry you stepped into a landmine without even trying. This often happens here. Someone posts a simple question but unfortunately there are a lot of self-righteous people that frequent these boards who for some reason feel the need to start arguments, and others that are happy to oblige them by arguing back.

I don't see anyone here being self righteous. This is a public board with many different people who have many different opinions. The fact is, Disney does not want wheeled coolers being brought into the park. If you need to bring in your own food, you should do so in a backpack.

Not everyone takes food into the parks, we certainly don't (except this time coming up we may need to for my 2 year old brother, but that is a different story all together).

Do you realize you just contradicted yourself?

On the park maps last year at the MK it does allow food brought in. Only exception is glass and alcohol. So the stated policy is that food IS allowed. Personally we don't do it as I'd rather eat at the parks but anyone is allowed to. Roller coolers are not allowed. I saw someone last year carry in their small cooler on wheels. The guard saw the wheels and said he couldn't take it in even if he was carrying it as they have no idea if you are going to ride it around the parks. So the guy told his wife he was taking it back to the car and left.
