Hey guys still new to the forums but thought i'd try to start an ongoing thread. Seeing as i'm trying to become one of the biggest disney geeks ever i thought i'd start a thread on various interesting tid bits of information on the Disney company. So basically i just want everyoen who posts in this thread to post one cool fact about the Disney company. It can be about the company, the parks or anything else Disney related. So heres my little tid bit for all my fellow canadiens out there:

Did you know?
The RCMP has long been held as a national image of Canada. However many individuals were profiting over this image (mostly through merchandising) without the RCMP having any real control. In 1995 the RCMP attempted to rectify this situation by creating the Mounted Police Foundation to monitor it's image. However since the RCMP was not acustomed to managing licensing and marketing they decided to contract these responsibilities out to the Big Boys. Yep thats right. The Walt Disney company handled these responsibilities up until 2000.
