I'm on the fence about doing the Backstage Magic tour June 2011. It will be me, my husband and my daughter (Age 8). We went to
Disneyland, stayed at the Villas at the Grand Californian in Jan 2010 and LOVED every bit of it. We also did the Warner Bros backstage tour which we loved, and I was really surprised that my daughter really enjoyed it as well.
Should we do it? Give me all the pros and cons.
I will be one of the "pro" commenters.

I have been on this tour twice and number three is next summer. There are others going on my tour that it will be their third as well. I have nothing but great pros for this tour. I can't come up with many cons that really would make a difference. Take a look at the
ABD website and it will give you an overview of where they take you. Plus lots of surprises. You will go places that the public is not always allowed (such as Imagineering, WD Studios, Walts Apartment, Backstage at Disneyland, Jimmy Kimmels studio and many other places). The two hotels are beautiful. You have been to one of them. The meals are very nice. (You are in a group setting with meals, so not everyone will like everything.) You are with other people who love Disney and you will become friends and keep in touch afterwards. The Guides are everything and then some. They made both of my tours for me. They go out of their way for everyone to make sure all are having a good time. When you get to the parks, they give some fastpasses for you to enjoy on your own time. But, as you read trip reports, every tour is different. If one gets to see, experience, or receive something from one trip, the next one may not. Every tour is different depending on the situation. But, it doesn't make it bad. Both of my tours were different and I loved them both just as much!
There have been comments about the price of the tour. There are two high-end hotels, many meals, park hopper tickets, places no one gets to go and two WONDERFUL Guides to take you through it. Along with Hosts along the way who add to the magic. I can't wait for tour #3 next summer! New friends, a new experience, and I really can't wait to shop at Imagineering!
For me, and many who have written very positive trips reports on this forum, I think you would receive a resounding yes!
