Conundrum for a second half of our day after keys to the kingdom

Our family is not agreeing on what to do with our day next week that starts with the keys to the kingdom and is our last day at Disney on the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
Some of us want to go over to Hollywood Studios and then back to Magic Kingdom. Some want to go to Epcot to potentially score a guardians virtual queue. And then we have a straggler who thinks we should stay at Magic Kingdom all day. Magic Kingdom is expensive for MLL’s for just a half a day, but we fear there will not be anything left by the time we get back to Magic Kingdom. We have dinner reservations at Crystal Palace at six. It’s an exhausting day for sure but it’s for adults that are used to walking. What’s what would you all do for that last day after keys to the kingdom? A note though that this is not our only day at Magic Kingdom during this trip.. we will have a full MK day on a party day.

Can you split up, each person/group doing what they wish to do and then meet up for dinner? I think freedom for each finish their trip the way they wish sounds much more enjoyable than having to do things together where 2/3 of people want to be elsewhere.

With groups of adults, the option to split up works wonderfully for us!

We all do want to stay together, we are just having a difference of opinion on strategy between staying at MK, virtual queue at Guardians or DS back to MK. We currently have MLL purchased for DS with first ride starting at 2-3

Personally, I'd stay at MK and have a leisurely day taking it all in and then head to dinner. I hate the idea of going to DHS and then back to MK...seems like a waste of time to me. I could almost get behind going to EP for a bit because the monorail is easier and faster than a bus, but that seems like a lot of work too.

Do you know if we try for a virtual queue at 7:00 from the resort and it shows available while we are at the tour, can we go late and the VQ will be honored?

We have had luck going late to our Guardian's VQ many times, but there are no guarantees. If you tell them your group was called while you were on the KTTK tour, I believe there's a very good chance they'll let you on.

I'd try for the 7 vq drop. I did the 830 tour last thurs and there's no way, even if doing the tour at 8 that you'll make it to epcot by 1 for that drop and it will be gone quickly. The tour is 5 hours but ours went over a little.

If you want to guarantee a ride I'd buy the ll for it when you do your other stuff 7 days out. Don't expect to be able to get it day of.

Yes, a VQ for Guardians will be honoured from the time it is called until park close. Nobody has ever reported being turned away from Guardians.

Sorry, I edited to change. The three options are to go to Hollywood Studios, virtual Q at Epcot or staying at Magic Kingdom the whole timedo
After five hours of walking around for the tour, I would head back to the resort for a nap, then get up in time to make it to dinner.

If you leave MK, I would suggest eating dinner at the new park instead of all the going back and forth.

I like going to Epcot in the evening and ending the day there. If you want a buffet, how about Germany?

That would be more relaxing to me than all the transportation time.

I wish we were nappers but none of us are..
