Hi all,

My contract is finally loaded, it was entered yesterday and I was given my contract number, member Id and both mine and my husbands Club Id number. I was then transferred over to tech support to give me a pin number so I could set up my online acct. When tech support pulled up my club id they stated they could not give me a pin to set up the acct because I did not have any points loaded yet.

I went back over to member services and they verified that the points hadn't loaded yet as the account was just put into the system that day. They told me to call back today because they should load over night. I just called and no points. They said try calling back later on, maybe tomorrow, maybe Monday. So doesn't seem like they have a real idea as to when the actual points will be available.

Does anyone have any experience with this? A kind of timeframe from the actual day the acct is set up to when the points hit? I want to use some of the banked points (200) which will expire in April towards a trip we have planned in two weeks from today. They were nice enough to verify that studios were available for Saratoga but I know that could change at any moment. It's just so frustrating to be THIS close and can't get that room booked. I have cash ressies, but I'd really like to cancel them and use those banked points since we won't be going back before April when they expire and we are going for a 14 night stay two weeks from now. UUGGGHHHH.

Thanks,

Jackie

It takes a couple of days … and yes, is very frustrating.

You'll probably see them by Monday. Just keep checking your account.

You need to take a deep breath and relax a bit. :goodvibes

Different teams do different functions and the people that you talk to may not even know who they are. One team does contract work, a different team does accounting, a different team books reservations, a different team answers emails and chat, a different team sets up your account, a different team loads the contract and points.

Give it a day or two, I do not remember if the contract loaders work weekends.

DVC and Disney isn't perfect and you will have disappointments. Plan for the worst and hope for the best. :thumbsup2

See, I've told people that ROFR is the easiest wait. It only gets worse.

It took about three days for my points to load on my first account. My next contract showed up and took one day for points to load, and that was over a weekend. I believe the points loaded with on Saturday evening or Sunday.

I completely agree with you 100%! The RORF wait is only the tip of the iceberg. I think the nail biter is waiting for the sellers to return their signed documents. Waiting for Disney to finish and load points is a pain, but it'll happen and it's officially yours. That's a great feeling.

In July , I called the day my member number showed up on my existing online account and was told it would take from 24 to 48 hours and they actually showed up 10 minutes later.
