Contemporary to Wilderness lodge?

Anyone know if boat transport is available yet? Wasn’t running in Aug. - heading down end of this month and planning on seeing decorations at the Lodge. Hoping to hop that boat right at Contemporary instead of walking to MK to catch boat from there. Thanks for any update!

Last I heard is that it is still not running People ask every now and then on the Wilderness Lodge thread.

It was supposed to return after the room and dining refurbs were complete at CR. I believe that has come and gone. So hopefully the boat service will return soon.

Just back from a stay at BLT. There is no direct boat service at this time. We walked over to the MK boat launch.

Thank you for that info. Let’s see if things change in 3 weeks. Main reason we chose bay lake for this short visit was the easy access to MK and close resorts to view decorations. Walking to MK then hopping boat to the lodge won’t be a big deal.

What I heard from a transportation cast member last week who seemed "in the know" is that Disney has the staffing/boats available for this when it happens. The resorts that line runs to pay for it out of their individual budgets and they have not wanted to cover the expense yet. It probably won't be back until full capacity. I'd guess if people want it back they should write to the management of the fort/contemporary/lodge.

There the same week. We were hoping to take the boat from Wilderness for California Grill, but ended up driving since that boat is not running yet.
