Contemporary to Typhoon Lagoon?

I was reading on the Contemporary page how to get to Typhoon Lagoon. Monorail to TTC, bus to DD, bus to TL(this would be early morning). Is this correct? WOW! What a pain! Would a taxi be better if we wanted to arrive before opening?

A taxi would ABSOLUTELY be better (assuming you don't mind paying the $10, which is approximately what the fare would be). In my experience, transportation to TL is not very good, and the buses usually stop at Downtown Disney first. If you are worred about getting there at opening, save yourselves the trouble and just take a cab - you will be there in 10 minutes from the Contemporary, and be more well rested and less stressed.

Hmmmm...we went to Typhoon Lagoon from the Contemporary last March and we did not have to do all of that! There was a Typhoon Lagoon bus that came right to the bus stop like all the other busses! We did make stops at the Poly and GF, but then it was straight to TL!

No cab is necessary. Usually the Typhoon Lagoon bus also stops at Downtown Disney, but DD is not open so early, so your only destination (other than the Poly or GF) is Typhoon Lagoon.
