What's going on with all the barriers between the teacups and Toontown?

That's the filling in of the old 20K lagoon site.

"Filling in" to become what? Anybody know? Maybe 20,000 Leagues on Top of the Concrete"?

How long have those barriers been there? Last week was my first time back in five years. It was quite an eyesore.

They're filling in the 20K lagoon. It's going to be.... landscaping!! YAY! How exciting!

Landscaping? Can't wait! Do you think they'll have Landscaping preview tours for AP holders? Hopefully, they'll have Landscaping Fastpasses available. I always hate standing in line for an hour to look at landscaping.

Personally, I can't wait until Christmas 2007 for "Landscaping: the Movie". Rumor has it Johnny Depp is signed to play the elephant topiary.

I have some pictures of the construction in progress in my bottom link. The lagoon is GONE! They seem to be leaving the grotto alone so I imagine it will re-open when the project is done.
