considering changing rooms on wonder, need advise

we just booked our second Disney Cruise on the Wonder (first cruise was the wonder as well). We got one of the "secret porthole" room 5520. on our last cruise we stayed in room 5524. I am aware that there are some obstruction from the view. my question to you is would you upgrade to a deluxe ocean view for an additional 360.00 on deck 6?

How much time are you really going to be in your room looking out the window? $360 will pay for excursions, souvenirs, drinks etc... I wouldn't, but that is me. It really is a question of how much time you will spend in the room.

Would I? Probably not. $360 will cover a lot of other options.

Also, 5520 has much less obstruction than 5524.

Yup....we stayed in 5520 and it has virtually no obstruction. Distance to elevators, dining rooms, kids clubs makes deck 5 fairly ideal.

Currently have a inside 10 B booked for an Alaska Cruise. How did you like that cabin? We have a than 6 year old that probably visit the kids club daily. Was it noisy? I see 5024 is available would you change if you had that choice?

For $900 I'd stay with the current reservation. You can book some really nice excursions with $900.00.

I agree with this. The Alaska excursions are very expensive. Plus, being on the ship that long, you'll have some on board purchases (drinks, bingo, etc).
