Saw you on the "Christian Nation" thread, DD. You're braver than I am, I had enough yesterday.

I'm not that brave. I said my piece and then left, even though I'm a little interested to see what they said about me. :confused3

You actually got in the conversation, so that makes you braver than I am.

Last I saw, they were still going on about hot dogs. It's all a big joke to them.

 Yeah, now I'm sort of not really looking forward to motherhood anymore..... just kidding.:goodvibes I want kids. Seriously. But whoever my DH turns out to be is gonna have to let me sleep and he can take care of the kids every once and awhile....:rolleyes1
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! *coughcoughcoughhackhackcough* Hahahahahahahahaha!

i'd be more concerned with the sizzling and the smoke when he puts his hand on it.
:lmao:

Not really much to say today, but trying to keep this from the second page as well...

The temp is 38 above...that is a big improvement from last week's 30 below. But today everything is closed due to ice.

Those sub-zero temps really make a mess of things. It was so cold, there was some ice build up in the frame of my minivan, and yesterday, since it was so warm, it was melting that ice, and dripping inside. Weird...

Wow...it's colder in upstate NY than in Alaska! That's kind of funny. Our high today was supposed to be 15 or something like that. And tomorrow is supposed to be colder.

Obama's inauguration set to be the most expensive in US history

The $150m (£102m) cost of the celebration will dwarf the amount spent on George Bush's inauguration in 2005

Yes, it will dwarf (hey they said it, I can say it) GWB's last by nearly 4 times.

Sounds like quite a party....

Not very "Lincoln-esque" though.....but very "spendy".

Gee, you'd think the only people who care about the poor would be a tad more sensitive about flaunting their wealth, wouldn't you?

Hi guys! I don't have the whole story but what is up with this Tim Geither not paying taxes? What are these people thinking he can't figure out his own taxes and he is going to head treasury? I just don't understand? I just don't. Is there no one in this entire country who is both honest and can do the job?

They said a lot of it will be because so many people are coming. I can't imagine the logistical nightmare that that will be.

What I'm worried about is if these people will be able to eat. It will be okay though. I'm sure there will be a young boy with a small bag of sandwiches, and Obama will use it to feed the whole crowd. Come to think of it, I'm surprised he hasn't miraculously multiplied all of the guards and barriers needed for this event.

Forget the guards and barriers...what about the Port-a-potties? Apparently there's a college professor who believes that there will be lawsuits due to lack of port-a-potties.

maybe this is the beginning of the "spreading"....money will be spread to decorators, florists, caterers, musicians, etc.

What a way to start out a new Presidency - with a literal sh*t storm.

Why am I not surprised? :sad2:

That could be a really serious problem, with that many people who are full of ______ all in one place.

Oh, and FOUR DAYS! :cool1:

Obama's very much a "Do as I say not Do as I do" type of person. Rules - and his rules - apply to all except him. He shouldn't do a big bash but give some of that money to homeless shelters - or something - nationwide.

Forget the guards and barriers...what about the Port-a-potties? Apparently there's a college professor who believes that there will be lawsuits due to lack of port-a-potties.

Obama... Seattle... port-a-potties....:lmao:
There won't be any set up over graves at Arlington National Cemetery - will there?

(Anyone that paid attention to the Democratic Primaries should know what I'm referencing.....)
