The baby's expression is too much! I love it.

Well it's not quite the new year here, but...hi everyone!

Tink, your son is just the cutest baby ever. Well...the second cutest baby ever. Because of course my grandson is THE cutest baby ever. :lovestruc I got to see him tonight for a few hours at a friend's party.

We bugged out before midnight to make sure we beat the drunks onto this dangerous highway we live in. So now I'm sitting here drinking my Chambord and champagne...and most of y'all are in bed as usual.

sadly...this is rather amusing.

Hi, JB - How are you feeling? You crack me up - even being as sick as you have been, you still work all day, feed Jacob at night, make supper - which is much more than I do when I'm well! I hope you can relax just a little bit.

But, you've inspired me - I stayed up LLAAATTTEEE last night cleaning up my quilt room - which is also the den, laundry room, gift wrap room, entertainment/TV room, well, you get the idea....once I excavated my sewing machine from the rubble, I got pretty excited thinking about the UFO's that might actually get done. Anyway, thanks for leading me in the right direction...

Speaking of babies, how's Reagan?

Oh, and Deb, did Jack like his Sponge-Bob sweatshirt?

Sorry, ghostrider, but that's a negative. :lmao:
Did your grandson squeal and hold out his arms for Mickey and Minnie? Nope. But mine did. :rolleyes1

Happy New Year, everyone!

I'm still sick. I left work yesterday around noon (5 hours with nothing to do seemed like plenty to me) and came home, parked it on the couch and pretty much stayed there till about 10 minutes ago. I got up to make a sandwich sometime last night, and again for about 20 minutes (when I posted)because Jacob would not go to sleep unless I held him. I hadn't touched him all day because I really don't want to get him sick.

DH went across the street to our neighbors for awhile. They invited us over but I didn't feel up to it so he brought me back a plate of food. I slept most of the afternoon and evening so it was a pretty uneventful NYE here for me. I wasn't awake at midnight. First time in I don't know how long that has happened.

Today we will take down all the decorations, etc. and try to restore some reasonable facsimile of cleanliness to the house. I doubt it will be successful, but we'll give it a try. Maybe I can relegate Jacob's swing to the spot currently occupied by the Christmas Tree instead of right in the middle of the living room floor. I'm probably going to do some hand-sewing project of some kind most of the day. I have a bib to finish cross-stitching, a blanket I'm crocheting, and a scarf for my DD I'm knitting....maybe I can finish one of the above.

Deb did you join my quilt forums? We're going to start working on some service projects in the next week or so and do a few new swaps. I'd love to have you join in!!

I'm heading back to the couch now after I read a couple of Soarin's TR posts.

Ok update in the TR! For anyone who so desires to read it....

I need hot chocolate.... better go find that package of it I hid earlier. :rotfl:

I caught up with your TR this morning. Wow, you're putting the pressure on the rest of us with upcoming trips. :goodvibes

Oh my gosh - so much fun!! You're darn adorable too.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! My parents are coming up (they live about 4 hrs away) and they are bringing my 15 year old niece. I can't wait to see them. Thankfully, the house is somewhat clean.

I got all 7 digital albums done yesterday. Yay.

My kids are super, super hyper.

Happy New Year, Everyone!! I am so tired. We didn't get home til almost one this morning.

T&G-Love your pictures and your son is adorable! We haven't been to Pixie Hollow, but I can't wait to see it.
