I agree, I wish I could be optimistic too....but, I'm not. I also believe we're heading towards a single party system. You forgot about amnesty for illegals. Once Obama does that and give them the vote...It's all over.I wish I could be as optimistic, Mr. Man. Unfortunately, with Soros' program to buy all the Secretary of State positions in all the swing states, the votes by imaginary people that always seem to vote straight party Dem, and the soon-to-be guesstimate of the Census for cities, I think there will only be one party.
The Obama worshipers may not be happy...but, NOTHING will change their liberal views. They will find some way to make this Bush's fault.Look at it like this. Even the most die-hard OS aren't exactly celebrating this whole stimulus debacle. In fact, their defense of it has been pretty weak. For good reason. It is indefensible. It is an overreach of historic proportions that is going to negatively color anything else they try to do over the next two years.
This stimulus bill is owned by the Democrats and it is going to fail spectacularly!
The stimulus is not going to help market confidence. It is not going to help regain consumer confidence. It cannot help but fail because it is a punitive pile of partisan excess (which we now refer to as a "steaming pile of Schumer") or Hope and Change.![]()
Heck, if you really want to know what the market thinks about the current administration's approach to the economy just watch Geithner. All Geithner has to do is "test his microphone" and the market drops points like President Obama drops friends with "issues". Not to mention, Dow Jones has dropped 2000 points since election day (that's like half a bazillion in Pelosi speak).
Just wait until taxes go up, inflation goes up, unemployment goes up and the Baby Boomers figure out that they can't retire, and the Chinese call in their "chit" causing our bond market to collapse (a la Argentina). There will be a lot of mighty uncomfortable Democrats in D.C. as the "chattering class" stops chattering and starts acting.
They don't care that this administration is anti-business and anti-Wall St. They think that's a good thing.
Judd Gregg just came home. Between the census-fraud and the pork, he said it was irreconcilable differences that would not make a good fit!
This is a bright moment in my day.
