Looking at the 10/26 Magic 7 night and we are a family of 4, kids are 7 and 3. The lowest Verandah available is a 5B. I started thinking if it would be possible to get 2 rooms. I realize you still have to pay adult fares for both, but if we could get double the space for not much more it might be worth it. At least one of the rooms has to be a verandah though. We were supposed to be on the Magic post drydock and ended up on the Fantasy in an inside. We were happy just to be cruising, but said never again to 4 of us in an inside room. Do any Verandahs on the Magic connect to an inside or Oceanview?

Ideally, I wasn't planning on spending more and would like a Cat 6 or 7 but there are none available that sleep 4, unless someone has one they are thinking of switching to another category..... ;) I think I am thinking too hard and should just book a 5B

No, there are no verandahs that connect to inside rooms on any of DCL's ships. I am not aware of any verandahs that connect to porthole rooms either, even after the Magic's drydock.

This is true. Most of the connecting rooms are to others of the same category. There are a few exceptions, like the 1 bedroom suites that connect to a veranda room. But most are in the same category. And you are right, you would pay 4 adult fares in your situation. Have you looked into a suite for more space? You would get more room, concierge perks, AND you would only pay 2 adult fares. It may not be less money than two rooms, but it might give you more bang for your buck. Just a thought.

Yes, it was double the price. I think I have gotten to the sticker shock phase of my cruise planning that I always get to where I am like "10% more that's not bad...." Then I realize I started out looking for a 6A. There must not be many that sleep 4. Looks like I will leave my hubby at home :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Thanks for the replies :) Still hoping someone might change their date or category and free up a 6A....I guess I'll keep checking daily if not multi-daily ;)
