Congratulations to our Nova Scotia DIS Friends - GKTW

A bright spot on an otherwise bleak day. The good folks in Nova Scotia held a meet to benefit Give Kids the World. @hockeymomNS is one of the primary organizers of this event, but I'm sure she will pass the credit on to a bunch of others up there in the Halifax area. Together today they raised $5,000 for GKTW.

Thanks for that Jeff! The Nova Scotia team each had some personal challenges this year, and up until less than three months ago it wasn't going to happen for 2016. But we had a change of heart, obviously, and pulled together an event more like the very first one, concentrating on the auction yesterday, and with no podcast recording. We were overwhelmed by the result, and as the news from yesterday reminds us, none of us are promised a tomorrow so we need to make the most of today, every day.
