Confused about 40% off "pin"!

I have a question. I received a "pin" in the mail for 40% off a room as long as I book by March 31, 2008. So, about a month ago I contacted Diseny Travel Co, to get a quote using this "pin". The CM gave me a quote for the room, tickets, and dining plan. Now, here I am, a month later, and booked my stay. (It's my honeymoon actually!) The CM I spoke with yesterday told me that I can't use the "pin" if I wanted to add the dining plan because it is for room only and adding the dining plan turns it into a "package'. What? They didn't tell me this before! So, is this correct? I'm confused!

It seems most people here who refer to 40% code have used the 40% code and "applied" it to the Magic Your Way Package...I got a 20% offer...I said I would like it "applied" to a Magic Your Way Package, which simply means that you are then able to book dining and a minimum of 1 day base ticket MUST BE BOOKED. In your case, the 40% code will just be on the "room portion", then they will factor in and add tickets and dining, whether deluxe dining or basic dining..

My experience is keep trying...So many CM's are saying that they haven't heard anything about "free dining" or "we don't think it will be offered this yr"..
what a joke...keep trying with different people!!!!!

OKhere is my advise....call back NOW! Seriously...your code will expire soon and you need to get it taken care of ASAP. YOU CAN make this a package and if the CM says otherwise PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ask for guest services. There are always new CM's on the floor that are not familiar with codes etc...(not their fault...they are just new!).

I have the 40% PIN. It was off the price of the room, but we were able to book tickets and dining as well. I have a friend who also got the same PIN code; she booked tickets and dining too.

Keep calling back until you get a CM who knows his stuff. Thank them poitely and call right back until it works out for you. But do it now.

We received the same pin code for 40% off and it is for Room Only. The CM who did our reservation said you cannot apply the 40% discount if you make it a package (i.e., adding dining and park tickets). They should still honor this pin code since it doesn't expire until 3/31/08.

That CM was WRONG! The absolutely can make it into a package...CALL BACK!!!

I was able to use my 40% pin code for ROOM ONLY !! I did try a few times to get it for the dining plan, but no luck. We did book the room, and the dining with tickets package.

You CAN use the 40% off room code and add tickets and dining to make it a package. Of course you only get 40% off the room (you don't get 40% off of the DDP and tickets), but I don't think that's what you're asking about.

(We used that same code for 2 rooms at AKL, and had tickets and the DDP added to our ressies - no problem.)
