Confirmation of Wait List

A friend has set up a DVC reservation for me, which ended up being 3 different reservations at 3 resorts.

We asked to be waitlisted for BCV on the first 1 night reservation, as well as the third 2 night reservation -- that is where we'll be the most nights in the middle.

I know I can confirm our reservations at http://www.mydisneyreservation.com/dvc, but will the resort listed there change if the waitlist comes through?

or is the only way to know is if my friend checks through the DVC website or receives a call?

Your friend won't receive a call. The reservation.com website can take a couple of days to get updated so your best bet is the member website or call MS.

Thank you for the response.

I understand that to mean the reservation confirmation website will change its listing (eventually) from the current resort to BCV should the waitlist come through.

My friend has been a member since the beginning (Old Key West) so I think the old way may have been to receive the phone call and that is what she is expecting to happen now. I'll ask her to check at least before we go ... just don't want to bug her.
