Confirmation Number????

This gets more strange by the minute. After reading yesterday how "everyone" here got confirmation numbers when they placed their orders for MNSSHP or MVMCP, I called back today to ask why I did not receive a confirmation number when I got my MNSSHP tickets for Oct. 17. After being on hold for 5 minutes, she reports back that because the tickets are being mailed to me, they were not giving out confirmation numbers??? I explained that on the Disney Discussion Boards, everyone that ordered yesterday seemed to get one. Again, she said, "No, we do not give confirmastion numbers for those tickets." I was told if I did not get the tickets in 2 weeks to call back.

What would you do???

Call again. You'll most likely get a different CM. See what they say.

I'm getting mine mailed to me and they gave me a confirmation number this morning! I'd call back.

ok, called back. Again, don't need confirmation number. Could it be perhaps that I ordered tickets only. No eating reservations, no hotel reservations, only tickets. They assured me my order was in the system and I would get my tickets in 2 weeks.

I don't think you can get a confirmation number for ticket purchases after the transaction is processed. You need to get it before the CM moves on to something else. That's probably why you aren't getting one from your subsequent calls. I'm pretty sure the confirmation numbers for PS work differently from those associated with ticket transactions.

Anyway, I don't think you have to worry, either. The CMs have seen your order in the system. Once your tickets arrive, your worries will be over, so try not to stress yourself out for next two weeks.

Nope has nothing to do with the eating part made mine separately got confirmation number and card was charged right on the phone call. YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO GET CONFIRMATION NUMBERS

Yep I got a confirmation number for the tickets I purchased. They are being mailed to me as well and I got just tickets with nothing else attached like meals or rooms.

I remember last year when I ordered tickets I got a confirmation number too.

Mail within 2 weeks I would call back,you could check recent transactions on your CC and see if you have been charged for them.

When I ordered my MVMCP tickets yesterday I DID get a number. I even read it back to the CM. Now maybe it's not a CONFIRMATION number, but an ORDER number?

I ordered tickets only, and they are being mailed to me and the CM gave me a confirmation # If they are in the syystem, I wonder why they aren't giving you the #?

Very strange...Hmmm. We got confrimation #'s for everything. From MMVMCP tickets to PS at LTT. Hmmm

Call back...and when you do make sure they have you as being ordered and being mailed.

I just ordered mine and got a "ticket order" number, 12 digits both numeric and alpha.
