So, I've made a decision...for those of you reading my PJ...I've decided that if only my parents show that I will get confetti cannons...So, here is the age old question...What do they cost??? I think I might want them either way...What the heck...I am only going to do this once...I might as well live it up! :rotfl:
TIA

Hello

Im my proposal as an enhancement, it says the Confetti Burst is from $500.00

HTH!

There are two different kinds. I think the $500 is the one done after the ceremony. Which uses petals or streamers. I'm a huge confetti cannon fan and I don't think that one is worth it so much.

If you were doing it at the reception I believe it is $650. This is the one that's done inside and practically fills the room with confetti. :lovestruc

lol, well I talked about it so much that DF was finally like, just get it already to shut me up. :lmao:

LOL! I would love it if it used petals...to me that would be totally worth the cost..DH...not so much...*sigh*

my planner did mention a canon w/petals for after the ceremony at our ps....about $500 though:goodvibes

interesting - i am realizing that the pictures i like are streamers really... hopefully that means the effect i am after is the less expensive one!

I'm having streamers for my staged exit. They are $4.50pp I believe. I'll have to check my BEO

We had the confetti cannons during our reception! :lovestruc Sooooo much fun! Our original set up was a staged exit from the reception running through everyone while they launched the confetti and the cannons would go off for the last dance. During the reception I changed my mind and asked if we could bump the timing of the cannons up. Within 5 minutes everything was set. And I'm so glad we changed it...made for some great pics! :goodvibes

The Reception Confetti Cannon was $675. The Fluffer-fetti wands were $5 each.

You can get cute pics like this:

Or silly pics like this:

There was a left over cartridge they launched...who doesn't like more confetti?!

I just talked to my planner about this - they can only do confetti (especially the metallic mickeys) inside, if you want it done outside as a part of the "staged exit" they are always streamers...and the cost is $500. Hope this helps!

kcampbell I love your confetti pics! how far up did you move the confetti launch? I thought it had to be done at the end, but have never asked, but if we could do it earlier that would work out much better.

Thanks!! I can best guesstimate that we had them go off between 9:30 and 10. (our reception was from 7-11) So it was after we did the cake cutting/cordials, garter/bouquet tosses, thank you speech, and a good amount of dancing. It changed the atmosphere for that last hour or so into even more of a party.

I also thought the cannons would only be done at the end for fall reasons with the flufferfetti, but the AV team said it was fine to move up. My planner and DJ agreed it should be done earlier more often if that's what the couple wants. :thumbsup2

Awesome pictures! Looks like so much fun!
Thanks! :goodvibes

thanks so much! It didn't even occur to me they'd let you do it sooner. I had just about given up on them because we're extending our reception so it was looking like just too much money since we'd definitely want pics, so we'd have to extend photography and possibly video too. But now it seems like it could be an option after all.

You are so welcome! It's funny b/c when we were thinking of extending our reception the confetti cannons would've been one of the first things to cut b/c I knew a lot of our older guests wouldn't stick around for them anyway so why pay if not everyone could enjoy them, you know? Knowing they'll be earlier in the night ahead of time will let you work with your DJ/musicians and you probably can come up with some really great ideas. I loved the original concept that Ken, my WP, came up with, but definitely wouldn't trade the fun we all had with what actually resulted. :goodvibes

I'm just glad what we did has given you a way to have both the cannons and the extra hours!! :woohoo:
