Conference transportation

i am attending a conference at the Yacht Club in December. However, because I booked late I will be staying at POR, the overflow resort. I understand from Disney they will provide transportation from POR to YC. Has anyone had any experience with this? Thanks!

Walking by the convention center at the Boardwalk when there was a large convention going on we've seen buses dropping off and picking up people in front of the convention center at various times of the day and evening. You could check with the organizers of your conference to see what they have arranged.

My guess is that OP's conference doesn't have a block of rooms there. I'd rather pay a conference rate at POR than rack rate at Swan or Dolphin.

True. I was thinking she could just expense it back to the company but if she has to do conference rate I suppose there's no choice. For going resort to resort it's best to trust a Minnie Van ($20 per trip) or Uber/Lyft although if Disney says they'll provide transport for this conference, I'm sure they will.
