Well, concourse has always been our breakfast favorite with the steak and eggs and sticky mickey, but I have to say that I think it's time for this restaurant to go. It wasn't nearly as good this time and they've changed the stickey Mickey to just a plain old sticky type bun that isn't nearly as good and is about 1/4 the size.
We wished we had just kept our ressies for kona cafe as it would have probably been much better. We officially decided that since concourse is leaving, we'll make Kona our new breakfast spot.

Anybody had dinner here recently?
I have an ADR in February and I am wondering if I should change it.
Thoughts?

Even though my family and I have not had dinner there on our most recent trip to WDW, we have been there for dinner a few times in the past and we thought the food was very good. Personally I would keep your ADR there since they are closing on May 10, 2008 it might be your last chance to eat there again.

I realize that May 10, 2008 will be the last night they are serving dinner as they are closing for good on May 11, 2008. It is one of the reasons I made an ADR to return here for dinner - nostalgia if you will. We have eaten here in the past as well.
However, if the quality has really slipped recently as they approach the closing date, then I want to change my ADR to somewhere else.
I was hoping someone who had eaten here recently, not in the past, would post.

I made lunch reservations here for our trip. I'll be dining with two "plain" eaters so I was hoping this would be okay. Anyone with experience at lunch?

Thanks,

Jennifer

We are just back and ate at the Concourse during our 13th - 22nd stay. I had made reservations 180 days out. We didn't wait too long for our table. Unfortunately we were seated nearly in the walkway to the restaurant. It appeared they had added the table as a sort of 'over-flow' and our party of 4 got it. Our meal was OK - nothing spectacular. 2 of us were on the dining plan and 2 used the Dining Experience card (which they automatically added an 18% tip to). No problem with the service. Our server was great! Food was just mediocre at best. My medium rare filet was prepared medium well. Certainly edible, just not what I had ordered. I'm glad we had the experience to eat there since it is closing. But, if it were not closing, we would not eat there again.
