I've seen some posts about using the "itinerary" planning team if you have a concierge reservation and I was wondering if someone could give me more information. We are staying concierge for our honeymoon and were thinking that we may not want to make all PSs right away.

Thanks!

The resorts have concierge staff set up to assist you while you're there. Just stop by their desk and they can make many last minute dinner arrangements for you. Keep in mind, they probably won't be able to get you breakfast with Cinderella or a table at Victoria & Alberts but other than that, you should be okay. You might need to be a bit more flexible with meal times or with your choice of restaurant, that's all.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding.

I'm not sure where you are staying, but I contacted this number for the BWI itinerary planning office, which I think also serves BC and YC. I'm sure if it's not the same number, they can direct you. It's 407-934-1448. Good luck and have a great trip.

It doesn't hurt to contact them A.S.A.P. for those events that you feel that you just can't miss. You could always cancel if you change your mind (as long as it's within the 48 hr time limit of the event). When we stayed AKL concierge we had no plans for Cindy's but were asked if we wanted to attend. We already had plans, Sunrise Safari, and couldn't take advantage of the offer. They told us that they get first or second chances at late cancelations.

Chipscinderelly, first off, congrats on your upcoming nuptials! How exciting!

If you are a concierge guest, you should have access to your resort's pre-planning staff. Take advantage of them now for any PS reservations that you think you might want. It is always best to plan in advance than to plan at the last minute. If you have a reservation that is particularly hard to get, especially during one of Disney's busier seasons, the more advance warning you give the pre-planners, the better chance you have of securing your coveted reservation. That said, you may also use their services for other things. For example, if you would like to plan a romantic night out but have no clue what Disney has to offer, just ask the pre-planners. They can tell you all about the various carriage rides that are offered on-site (I highly recommend a romantic carriage ride through Fort Wilderness, *sigh*), as well as any special dinners that may be put together for the two of you (how 'bout a romantic dinner along the shoreline of the Poly or GF?). The pre-planners have planned all sorts of things for guests over the years, and they should be able to offer up at least one or two things that might suit your fancy. Give ‘em a try.
