In my experience if the lounges offer Oatmeal it is usually during the winter months like November and December. However last month the Atrium Club lounge at the Contemporary stopped serving Oatmeal during breakfast, unlike previous years during the month of December. So I am not sure about the Grand Floridian. Also, is oatmeal available at breakfast in the RPC lounge?

You're welcome.Thanks!
What are the typical offerings in the GF RPC lounge in the evening?
Also, is oatmeal available at breakfast in the RPC lounge?

There was no oatmeal this summer, but then could it have been the time of year? AKL had oatmeal that week, but neither BC nor GF did.
In the evenings, there were veggies, little plates of salads, and a few hot items like skewered meat. If you look at the photo thread for concierge I think you can see photos of the evening offerings. I'm pretty sure that's where I saw the photos -- sorry I'm not 100% sure. I remember some cheese at dinnertime, too, and a small selection of items for the kids. Plus wine and beer and other drinks of course.
That's very useful information, Kdub. Thanks for sharing!

.......We are usually AKL Club level ppl....adore the CL lounge and the serenity of the resort, but decided to try a new resort as this is most likely my last trip for a very long time....as well, my son will be 14 yo, so I thought BC would be a great resort for a teen boy to dive into!
I am having a hard time deciding whether I should stay with what we have booked right now (Aug 21-26th Standard view, Deluxe Dining) OR paying the $ 400 or so difference and staying Club Level, like we usually do with just the basic dining plan. We have come to love club level, and I am having a hard time parting with the thought of "no club level" this trip, regardless of "trying the Deluxe Dining plan (which is new to me).
......The choice is hard.... Any recommendations or thoughts to help me make the choice easier??

Hi! We are heading to GF Sugar Loaf next week --- we have never stayed conceriege level before at any resort. I have a quick question:
I need to request a crib and I want to be on a high floor. Is this a request I should sent to the IPO, or should I call the general Disney reservation number.
Thanks!
I don't think there is such a thing. SL is only four floors, I think.
Hello! I am having such a hard time deciding whether or not to add on Concierge level this summer to our 5 night stay at BC. My son and I are going on a trip just the 2 of us. We are staying 5 nights at Disney and 2 nights at PBH Universal Studios Club Level. We are usually AKL Club level ppl....adore the CL lounge and the serenity of the resort, but decided to try a new resort as this is most likely my last trip for a very long time....as well, my son will be 14 yo, so I thought BC would be a great resort for a teen boy to dive into!

The most major downside to the Deluxe DP is that there is just too much food!! I know I don't have time/or inclination for all that many sit down meals!
I also dont' want to come away from the trip 10lbs heavier than when we arrived!
PRO's for club level:
It seems like we have a better chance of a room with a decent view on the
club level, and I must admit....I love all the extra ammenities and conveniences of Club level!!!

Hi to all!
Just booked BWI CL - Standard.
Can someone help me figure out what view to request. please!
They asked if we wanted to request garden, water or pool view.
I have no idea. I know that I would prefer to be on the same floor as the
Inkeeper's Lounge. What would you suggest?!?!
Also, do all the rooms have full balconies, or do I need to request that?
Can anyone advise as to what food is typically offered? I did look at the beginning of this thread, but I know that it has been reported that CL has made "cutbacks" and wonder what it is like now.
Sorry for all the questions. We are going there for our 25th Anniversary, and I want to make it as nice for my DH as possible!!
Thanks so much for any and all help!![]()
I read a few pages back and can't find this specifically, so apologies if it has been asked.
I am booking for June and trying to decide. We've always stayed Poly CL for at least part of our trips.
But, this past August I was disappointed in Poly CL; still, if I stay at the Poly I would choose CL. I saw online that they are offering CL access to Theme Park view rooms. Does this mean even more people in the lounge? Even longer lines?Has this already started and does anyone have experience, is it working out OK? If lounge is much more crowded, I think I will have to choose a different resort.
TIA
The TPV rooms are actually contained within the Hawaii building. They did not add the TPV non-CL rooms as CL. The new TPV-CL rooms are a new, higher priced room category in Hawaii. The CL categories are now (from highest priced to least): TPV, LV, and GV.
The rooms are primarily located on the 2nd and third floor of the LV side of Hawaii, according to previously posted information. There will be no additional folks in CL than you have previously experienced.![]()
