Concept art for the cancelled animated series based on The Aristocats

So it appears that there was going to be an animated series based on "The Aristocats" called "Aristocats: The Animated Series." way back in 2003. Marie and her brothers Berlioz, and Toulouse would be turned into teenagers. And would've given Marie (Who was supposed to be the main character of this new "Aristocats" show) someone new to bounce off of. They also invented this teenaged cat similar to O'Malley the alley cat, called Delancey, who could dance like a combination of Justin Timberlake and Usher. And then to round out the cast "the Street Cats" were created. The basic idea here was to reinvent "The Aristocats" so that this franchise would then appeal to your typical Disney Channel/Toon Disney cartoon show. The idea got cancelled in 2006, when Disney acquired Pixar.

The only thing that exists is concept art for what the characters would look like.

Even seeing the concept art is giving me flashbacks to Quckpack and 101 Dalmations: The Series.

I like the look except for berlioz. He looks like a totally different cat lol. Also marie and delanceys art style seems different to the other two cats... But still, I woulda watched it haha.

Hm... I agree with the previous, the art style seems a little off. It's bothering me how skinny Marie looks, but that's probably just my problem. Would've been interesting to see this though. Too bad it never happened.

Since The Lion King is getting a spin-off series on Disney Jr. This would be the perfect opportunity for Disney to make a DisneyJr educational series starring the kittens.
