Obviously (at least I hope it is) I am not built to wear capris........
I will say that the ventilators work well. I packed the wrong tights last year and ended up running in them in the 2010 Canadian Invitation Disney Marathon. I was miffed but am going the long way to say that i will wear them when the starting temps are in the upper 50's to low 60's and the finish will remain the upper 60's or less. The long path was to say they work kind of well in the 30's. I did over short them to keep the privates happier and that covered part of the grid.
Hmmm....just part of the grid, huh? Now, I definitely need to meet you!

Still LOVE them a believe they save my knees!
Well....maybe.
My hips do bother me with most long runs over 10 miles, but the pain doesn't make me stop, they just ache a lot. However, at my half in October, I didn't have any hip discomforts, but at mile nine, I had cramps at the top of my calves. By the time I was done running, it felt like I had 2 balls in the back on my calves. I had to keep massaging them, and it lasted about an hour. I think it was more of a hydration issue then anything. But at nearly $100 a pair, I want to buy the right tights the first time. I could easily see myself loving them, even for the over all reduction in muscle fatigue with long runs.
. I really believe that these suckers are as essential as the right running shoes. We'll see how they are running in warmer weather.
