I'm here. France is done, the rest just need to be cut and assembled. Shouldn't take to long. The kids had a meet today and the last one is Thursday or Friday depending on weather. I should be done by the weekend, or at least that's my goal.
I'm working diligently on my angel groups.. I have all them cut and will assemble and embellish over the next 3 days... Hope to mail on 10/31.... I'm also keeping Buffy on track to keep her mind off things at night... She just has title on 2 groups to cut and adhere... She is cutting the little pieces for tomorrowland tonight and I hope to have her templating DHS yet this evening! We'll have her postal soon...
Norway is done, just need to glue down my other set. I gave up on sketch 7 after seeing all the papers on the left were cut individually and not just striped paper.
That is the sketch you cheat on. You use the kind of paper that is already borders, cut it to length and then cut it on the pre-made borders and just space it so it kinda looks like the sketch.
I'm cutting all my embellishments for my groups today... and will start adhering the pages together tonight & tomorrow!!! I'm loving my ideas... they are turning out great!!! (well, at least Japan is)...
I'm working on mine this week. I finally have a couple days off. I spent yesterday working on getting the sewing machine to work properly. I was hoping to finish that set then, so working on it today instead.
Here were my last 2 of my original groups:
Group E: Canada
The evergreen tree if silver-misted...
Group F: Sunset Blvd
Angel Spot Round 1:
Group A: Animal Kingdom
he photo mat is scored to show where to place your photos!
Angel Spots Round 2:
Group B2: Frontierland
The title is cut on real thin cherry wood (it's scrapbook safe... mom bought it at a scrap-expo). The cactus is a little rough but I thought it gave a little to the realistic side of a cactus...
Group C: Dinoland
Group D: Innoventions
The photo mat is scored to show where to place your photos! Also, the stripes while they over lay onto the photo mat there is plenty of room to slide your photo underneath!!
Group E: Japan
Group I: General MK
Group J: General AK
Group K: General Epcot
Group L: General DHS
Annie, I will be postal on Monday!!! (Maybe Saturday.. got to get bags and a box!)
Great work! I'm sitting at my dining room table and working on swaps all weekend. This week was a washout with my Meezer getting sick, so I hope to catch up by Sunday.
