Barb asked for confirmation updates from the August team, so here is mine!
Disney vacations are always special, but this trip is really special for me. A little background on me: I just graduated from law school in May, and I will be sitting for the bar exam next week! (Yikes!) I've spent the past two months doing (literally) nothing but studying, studying, studying! It's now at the point where I am having bar exam dreams almost every night, and I am beginning to see possible legal issues almost everywhere I go!
Needless to say...I NEED a break, am so READY for a break, and what better way to forget about the bar exam than with a trip to Disney!?
My family and I will be staying at Beach Club from August 4-10, and we've got some really exciting dining plans lined up! We'll do some old favorites - Yak and Yeti, Via Napoli, and Crystal Palace - but we're also trying some new places! My sister has also been bitten by the Disboards bug, and she'll be helping me rack up as many points as we can manage!!
Looking SO forward hitting the road for FL!
See ya'll real soon!!
Mel
Congrats on finishing law school! I was in your position **cough cough 11 cough** years ago, and went on a camping trip after I finished the bar exam. A trip to WDW sounds like a better idea![]()
I'll be there 8/31 - 9/7. Do you still need reporters then?
Woohoo! Just got my August reporting PM so I'm checking in here!
We'll be at Disney World from August 26-September 2. On this trip will be myself, my fiance and my mom. Initially it was supposed to be a mother/daughter trip celebrating my graduation from university and acceptance to graduate school (and my birthday is during the trip as well), but my fiance has never been so he's coming along too! I am so excited to share WDW with him for the first time.
We will be doing a split stay, 3 nights at the Beach Club and then 4 nights at the Grand Floridian. This trip has been in the works since I was a senior in high school so we have been saving, planning (and saving some more!) for years. I am so ready for this vacation, it has been a long summer of full time work and school and I will be beginning graduate school on September 3, the day after we return. I am really looking forward to relaxing at SAB with a Sunken Treasure and lobster roll!

You may ask yourself - how can they go to all these places without bursting and how will they fit in the Plane seats going home? We plan to occasionally split up to conquer!
Love, love, love your dining choices. Have eaten at all except Be Our Guest. Looking forward to your reviews.
Hi Barb! Confirming I got your message and I'm on board for live reporting from 8/16 through 8/30.
We have nearly 40 ADRs for the 15 day trip so it is likely that some will fall off our schedule due to the sheer number. We'll see....![]()
Some new place for us will include; Shula's, Sanaa, Tusker House, Rose & Crown, and San Angel Inn. (Monsieur Paul is a maybe, not sure about that one.) I'm also taking a chapter from one of your Dining Reviews and doing the afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian. That trifle looks delicious!
So that's our plan... 4 resorts, 39 ADRs and 15 days of fun.
I'm trying to finish up my current TR and Em swears she will finish her DR from Feb/March so we'll be all set to start all over.![]()
