Coming to you Live from Disney World!-Take 2 AUG/SEPT WINNERS ANNOUNCED

I got my PM so I am checking in for August reporting as well :thumbsup2
It'll be myself and my DD who will be turning 6 the day before we leave, we will be at the Yacht Club from August 19th until the 28th. This is a trip to celebrate DD's birthday :cheer2: so we have a lot of meals that she picked out. We normally do the DP but since we bought AP's for this trip we are getting a TIW card. I can't wait to start reporting.

Just confirming that I'm still in to do live reporting during our August trip :cool1:

Here's what I have for dining reservations:

Lunch: Hollywood and Vine
Dinner: Yachtsman Steakhouse
Dinner: Be Our Guest Restaurant
Dinner: Ohana
Lunch: Tutto Italia
Breakfast: Boma

I may add some more reservations, but those are the ones already booked.

Barb asked for confirmation updates from the August team, so here is mine!

Disney vacations are always special, but this trip is really special for me. A little background on me: I just graduated from law school in May, and I will be sitting for the bar exam next week! (Yikes!) I've spent the past two months doing (literally) nothing but studying, studying, studying! It's now at the point where I am having bar exam dreams almost every night, and I am beginning to see possible legal issues almost everywhere I go! :faint:

Needless to say...I NEED a break, am so READY for a break, and what better way to forget about the bar exam than with a trip to Disney!? :woohoo:

My family and I will be staying at Beach Club from August 4-10, and we've got some really exciting dining plans lined up! We'll do some old favorites - Yak and Yeti, Via Napoli, and Crystal Palace - but we're also trying some new places! My sister has also been bitten by the Disboards bug, and she'll be helping me rack up as many points as we can manage!!

Looking SO forward hitting the road for FL! :cool1:

See ya'll real soon!!
Mel

Congrats on finishing law school! I was in your position **cough cough 11 cough** years ago, and went on a camping trip after I finished the bar exam. A trip to WDW sounds like a better idea :)

Barb, do you think there's any interest in seeing some of the food from our Freedom of the Seas cruise? When we leave Kidani on the 25th, we are boarding the ship.

How neat to find another lawyer on the Disboards! A bunch of my friends are planning to take trips to Europe after the bar, and they all think I am nuts for choosing Disney. No regrets here though - Disney is my happy place!! :cloud9:

Was thinking of the number if places we have for our Sept trip & not including Poly CL it's 21! That includes QS tho.. I didnt count snacks but Ill send those as well.. so ill have a whole lot to report in early to mid Sept!! Cant wait!

Sept 2013 Poly, 2012 Disney Fantasy, BC CL, GF CL, POR, 2011 Poly CL, CR, Poly CL, AKL, 2010 Poly CL, ASMu 2009, SSR 2008, Pop 2006, POR , Asmo 2005, Asmo 2003, offsite 2000, 1999,1989, Poly 1980, offsite 1979

Checking in for August reporting :cheer2:

We (DH and DD-13) are staying at the Wilderness Lodge from 8-25th August and are then doing a four night cruise on the Disney Dream:woohoo: Our friends and their two children will also be with us, albeit arriving a day later, but we have planned a mixture of meals both with and without them. There is a video of the 7 of us when we were last at Disneyworld in my signature - two weeks summed up in a little over 3 minutes :)

We booked when free dining was on offer and upgraded to deluxe, so have lots of ADRs....we are also ALL booked into the Pirates League pirate: I am still torn between being turned into a pirate or a mermaid....:confused3

Woohoo! Just got my August reporting PM so I'm checking in here!

We'll be at Disney World from August 26-September 2. On this trip will be myself, my fiance and my mom. Initially it was supposed to be a mother/daughter trip celebrating my graduation from university and acceptance to graduate school (and my birthday is during the trip as well), but my fiance has never been so he's coming along too! I am so excited to share WDW with him for the first time.:goodvibes

We will be doing a split stay, 3 nights at the Beach Club and then 4 nights at the Grand Floridian. This trip has been in the works since I was a senior in high school so we have been saving, planning (and saving some more!) for years. I am so ready for this vacation, it has been a long summer of full time work and school and I will be beginning graduate school on September 3, the day after we return. I am really looking forward to relaxing at SAB with a Sunken Treasure and lobster roll!

Our ADRs are as follows:

Flying Fish Cafe
Citricos
San Angel Inn
Bluezoo
Be Our Guest
Hollywood Brown Derby (dine with an Imagineer)
Via Napoli
Kona Cafe (breakfast and lunch)
Boma
Biergarten
Coral Reef

We are also planning to hit Tutto Gusto, Boardwalk Bakery, Hurricane Hannah's, Flame Tree BBQ, and some other CS stops.

Love, love, love your dining choices. Have eaten at all except Be Our Guest. Looking forward to your reviews.

Glad to hear it! Actually, most of them are new to us-- the only ADRs that we haven done before are Kona breakfast, Hollywood Brown Derby and Boma dinner.:thumbsup2

Hi Barb! Confirming I got your message and I'm on board for live reporting from 8/16 through 8/30.

We have nearly 40 ADRs for the 15 day trip so it is likely that some will fall off our schedule due to the sheer number. We'll see....;)

Some new place for us will include; Shula's, Sanaa, Tusker House, Rose & Crown, and San Angel Inn. (Monsieur Paul is a maybe, not sure about that one.) I'm also taking a chapter from one of your Dining Reviews and doing the afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian. That trifle looks delicious!

So that's our plan... 4 resorts, 39 ADRs and 15 days of fun. :woohoo:

I'm trying to finish up my current TR and Em swears she will finish her DR from Feb/March so we'll be all set to start all over. :cool2:
