Hi Everyone I am Erin and my family is traveling with Mindy2k3 and her family. I am traveling with DH (Jeff), DD13(Belle) and DD11 (Snow White).
We are driving down to WDW and should arrive on 10/10. We are also staying at WL for 8 nights.

Those are just our ADR's, we plan to snack around the world at F&W. After all of that we still have our QS credits to use too! We are both using the dining plan, although we have quite a few TS we will have to pay oop for. We have been planning for over a year, now that we are 17 days away, the excitement is starting to set in.

One more update to post from yesterday, and it's a great one from Riles_and_Gabe.
She and Gabrian had dinner last night at...
"This meal was so amazing and I can't picture anything topping this going forward. Because it was our fancy pants meal of the trip, Gabrian wore a tie for the occasion."
"We had a little bit of a hard time trying to figure out where the check-in was in the Hotel, but once we located it they made everything so easy. They practically held our hand guiding us through the restaurant."
"They gave us a check-in device and we spent about 10 minutes before it was our turn to be seated. It was fun people watching while waiting."
"The server really took his time going over the menu with us and gave mini descriptions of several of the items."
And the Kids Menu...
"I started off with the Cucumber Fizz and followed up with two Pisco Sours. They were all very delicious."
Cucumber Fizz - Cucumber water and Hendrick's Gin, with a hint of Limoncello.
San Fran Pisco Sour - Porton Pisco, Lime Juice, and Agave Nectar with a frothy topping of beaten Egg Whites, and just a dash of Angostura Bitters.

"I started off with the Goat Cheese Ravioli...
"It was so wonderful. It was my first time having Goat Cheese and it definitely won't be my last. The broth it was served in was so good. I wish it had come with a spoon so I could have eaten it like a soup."
"Gabrian had the veggie hummus lettuce wraps..."
"He liked the lettuce and let me eat the hummus and veggies. I thought they were very nicely seasoned."
"For our entrees, I had the Scallops with gnocchi..."
"These were so amazing. I don't know how any of my meals the rest of the week are going to compare. They were perfectly cooked with the wonderful sweetness that the scallops have. I was excited to see that brussel sprouts were in the meal because they are one of my favorite vegetables."
"Gabrian went with the Kids Steak..."
"I got a bite of it and it was perfectly seasoned and cut like butter. It was another winner in our meal."
"To finish off I went with the Seasonal Sampler with Chamomile Tea. It was very good and fun to try the different types of dessert."
"Our meal was timed perfectly so while I was eating dessert I was able to see the fireworks. It couldn't have been more magical."
"As for Gabrian, he went with the cookies and milk...."
"It looked really great but neither of us tried it. As you can by the picture he passed out between ordering the dessert and having it delivered. He was out like a light."
"I actually had to take a taxi home because there was no way I was going to be able to carry him back to the bus stop. I had the brilliant idea to not bring the stroller with us this evening."

What a wonderful idea to spread the Disney magic. How thoughtful and you can bet that couple will remember that night forever.

The bad news is that despite having 11 reporters at Disney World right now, we did not receive a single report today from the Food & Wine Festival. 
The good news though is that we have received several updates, so let's get started with those.
Our First Update of the Day was sent to us this morning by a new reporter who arrived at Disney World yesterday, TeresaG.
She said, "DH and I arrived last night for our adults-only anniversary trip and were so hungry we decided to already mess around with the ADR's I made! We cancelled breakfast at Kouzzina and instead hit DTD and...

"It was late, around 10 pm, but they seated us as walk-ups! We're on the deluxe dining plan for the first time ever, and boy is it a lot of food!! I apologize for the quality of these pics, I only have my phone camera since I decided to leave my real camera at home."
Irish Soda Bread & Guinness Dipping Sauce
"We started with the Dalkey Duo - Battered cocktail sausages with a Dalkey mustard dipping sauce and bread (I'm sorry about the half eaten food! I forgot to take the pics before we dug in -we were STARVING!)"
"DH had the fish and chips....
"He liked it. The fish was one HUGE piece. He said it was GREAT."
"And I had Serious Steak 10 oz sirloin topped with Irish whiskey marmalade glaze, with fresh basil oil, mashed potatoes & topped with beer battered onion rings."
"I thought the flavors were ok, but the steak was a little tough."
"For dessert we had Dunbrody Kiss Chef Dundons gift to America. Chocolate. And more chocolate, then add some more..."
"And the Gers Bread & Butter Pudding, Like no other pudding you have ever tried. Believe us....
"We shared them both and they were each delicious. We were so stuffed neither one of us could finish."

I already want to go back since I'm dragging my heels getting ready for work. I'll send the last of our Epcot food from the other night now and yesterday's from MK either on break or after my shift."
"We attempted to have a quick bite by stopping at the Wine Cellar in Italy but found the CMs a bit snooty about it. Even though we explained we weren't looking for a quick service and were willing to stand at the bar. I think we will stick to the local mom & pop Italian places and let Donald Dole Whip have the luck at WS."
"Anyway, after our "trip around WS was over we soared over California and grabbed our final snacks at...
"I found a cheese tray to tide me over that night and leave some for while we packed in the morning."
"The fruit was perfectly ripe and juicy, especially the strawberries, and the cheddar had a nice bite. The swiss pieces went to Kit and I don't think we cared for the triangle shaped cheese but it may be because of my distaste for cheese (I can have a few bites) and her craving something" familiar"
"Kit found a side of Mac & Cheese....
"Creamy and gooey."
"We may not have the most sophisticated palates but having a bit from a few different countries was fun and something I'd like to do again, maybe this time with actual reservations."

Koala March! (³¢énÞüÁ!) I lived near a Japanese shopping center back home and bought a box of these guys every time I went there...tasty AND cute, can't ask for more!
I'm so excited for F&W updates! We had planned on visiting Epcot to hit the F&W booths this Sunday, but I've got a lengthy paper to write and a crazy schedule at work all week so it's going to have to wait. But waiting can be good, I plan on using the reviews Barb will post to narrow down my F&W target list to a number that's actually achievable!
I want to apologize for not being a very good live reporter. Life took a stressful turn right before our trip and taking food pics was not the first thing on my mind. My hubby had to have a lung biopsy the day before we left. We just found out it's only mold and completely curable! Now to figure out where he got it....

I'm not sure either.
Mom reminded me that the Italian custom is to sit, eat and have conversation with good friends and family so having just something is a bit of an insult? But if you could get a glass of wine and only an appetizer then I don't understand why the same and dessert would be different.
