Our last update from yesterday was sadly the final one from Mary7116.



Mary said, "Our last table service meal of our vacation was at Downtown Disney's..."












"Nice seat. We weren't lucky enough to eat here but it looked nice so I snapped a photo."





"Irish soda bread: not a big fan but tasted fine."






"I decided on the roasted chicken and mashed potatoes. Juicy with the subtle flavors of lemon and thyme."






"Husband had the cod over mashed. He said it was very good."






"Son had the cheeseburger on onion roll with delicious Irish chips. The fries or chips were so crispy browned on the outside and soft inside. I cannot tell you how good these fries were! The burger was just as good with a lot of flavor."






"Other son had kids Mac & cheese with Irish chips. Very huge portion and yummy."




"And now dessert... Bread butter pudding for me. The butter sauce is out of this world, such a large portion and of course I was too stuffed to enjoy. Next time I'm ordering light to save room for this incredible dessert."








"Husband had the strawberry apple crumble, another huge portion. He really liked his dessert too."





"Son had plain ice cream which he enjoyed. It's his favorite."

"A great place to end our vacation. We really like Raglan Road and look forward to coming back again. It's so good! The dancers were great and the live band kept us entertained. Service was great as always. Most every Disney restaurant has very good service."

She said, "Breakfast today was a strawberry smoothie from the cart outside of Rock 'n Roller Coaster!"

She said, "Although I'm not a fan, it is convenient since we are staying at BLT."

"We had the arancini to start then the pizza with artichoke hearts (sorry, not remembering the names well tonight). We also got the salad which had these interesting red peppers in it. We asked our server what they were and he had to go ask the chef. They are called peppadew and apparently are from South Africa. They very sweet and fruity but also a touch spicy. I'd never had them before."

The Carciofi pizza is my current fav and I agree in the peppers. They are sweet with a spicy hint at the end!

Those Raglan Road pictures are to die for. I have had both the fish and chicken dishes when we have dined at RR before, not at the same time though , and seeing them this morning I wish we were eating there in October so I could have one of them again. Yummmmmmmm

Now for some updates from Gin0818, beginning with this CRT lunch update from Tuesday.



But before dining in the castle, they first had an appointment at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.






Then Princess Jill and her mom had lunch with the Disney princesses at...

Cinderella's Royal Table






Gin said, "Jill started with the cheese and grapes."






"And I had the Chef's Tasting Plate, it was cheese, hummus, bread and flat crackers plus a salad with strawberries, goat cheese, and balsamic dressing."




"The cheese and hummus were, but I'm not a goat cheese person."



"For lunch, Jill got the kids chicken nuggets, which came with mashed potatoes and corn."





"And I had the Major Domos Short Rib, slow-cooked in a Pinot Noir Demi-glace on Potato and Parsnip Puree."



"The taste was good but the piece of meat was very fatty. I couldn't even eat half of it because of this."



"Dessert was a Make your own Sundae for Jill..."






"And I had the Clock Strikes Twelve, this was amazing and looks cool also."





Their signature dessert with white and dark chocolate in a tribute to the moment when Cinderella loses her slipper.


"Overall I think will stick with breakfast if we come back here." ​

Gin said, "We went back to the pool in the afternoon and thought about what to do for dinner, so we checked the Disney experience app to see what was available at Epcot and we ended up at..."

"We started with the queso fundido."



"Jill was thrown off that it wasn't really for dipping but once I put it in a tortilla for her she loved it."



"For dinner Jill got the kids chicken tacos."





"And I had the Tacos de Camarones."




"They also bring out black beans...

"They also brought Jill a birthday sundae."





"This was a delicious meal. I hadn't heard too much about this restaurant but we were happy we stopped here." ​

She said, "This morning was our last and we had scheduled a breakfast at Hollywood Studios through the travel agency we booked through."





"It took place near the Backlot Tour in a prop shop."






"They had muffins, cereal, eggs, sausage, and cheesy potatoes."










"The chocolate chip crunch muffins were so good. This was a lot of fun since after breakfast we met...




And then went to ride Toy Story Mania."



"Sad to say this is our last update, ice cream from...

She said, "We had fast passes for lunch at BOG but when we went to check in they couldn't find us in their system. The guy even had me log into the WDW app and show him the reservation. They just gave us a paper pass and all was fine. I feel bad that they have to deal with so many system issues though."








"Lunch was good. Getting in and ordering was a touch chaotic but overall the experience was better for us than dinner (and a lot cheaper)."

Gisele said, "We seem to be throwing all plans out the window! Today was so hot that after a long afternoon at SAB we decided to stick around at Beaches and Cream. We had about a twenty minute wait but amused ourselves in the arcade next door!"

said, "Sorry I've not been keeping up with this - it was our last few days and we've been packing everything in. We've just headed off to Port Canaveral, so I'm going to try and get these done before wifi is an issue!"



"Friday morning we had the honour of being the flag family at the Wilderness Lodge. This was such an amazing experience being taken up to the roof by Ranger Jack to raise the flags. The view is spectacular and he was so knowledgeable."

First I must thank all 37 of our volunteer reporters who contributed to the live thread during the months of June and July. Combined you scored a total of nearly 3700 points...an average of 100 points each!!! Our top 5 winners alone scored more than 1/3 of these, with a combined total of 1266 points...that's an average of more than 250 points each!
