Just received the first update from Paula (smile4stamps). She is at the San Jose airport, waiting to board her flight to Denver. She will then be surprising her DH, Hunter, by boarding his plane to fly from Denver to Orlando. How cool is that?

Anyway, she sent a couple of airport food pics our way to tide us over until she gets to the Disney food.

stitchaholic said, "This had a nice piece of brioche bread and chunk of lobster meat, then a salad of lobster, capers, avocado, and pickled watermelon rind, with a round of watermelon. The sweetness of the watermelon rounded out the saltiness of the salad. It was an interesting dish."

stitchaholic said, "The steak was cook perfectly. My DBF loved it! I did not enjoy the sauce.
The potato gratin was delicious."

stitchaholic said, "The scallops were delish! I loved the roasted tomato sauce, but I was not fond of the corn risotto. I think corn is an uninteresting mix in a creamy risotto."
